This spacious and modern 130m² villa is located in the always green Alcantara Valley, just 10 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from Taormina, and close to Mount Etna. Surrounded by citrus trees, ancient olive trees, and palms, the property offers total privacy, a large private garden, and a beautiful tiled pool (5x10m) for your exclusive use.

The house features a bright, loft-like ground floor with high ceilings, modern furniture, and a cozy fireplace (wood available for a fee). The open-plan living room connects to a fully equipped kitchen with a hot air oven, microwave, dishwasher, double-door fridge with ice maker, and an espresso machine. There is also a toilet with bidet and sink, as well as a separate laundry room with a washing machine.

Upstairs you’ll find three sleeping areas, all with air conditioning: a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed , a bedroom with two single beds, and a third sleeping space with a 1.40m-wide double bed separated from the hallway by panel curtains. The house is situated in the Alcantara Valley, just 7 kilometers from the sea, between the volcano Mount Etna and the beautiful old town of Taormina. This is widely considered to be one of the most stunning parts of Sicily. The proximity of the ever active Mt. Etna has made the soil very fertile so the scenery is green and luscious year round. You'll be surrounded by overwhelming natural beauty and the Valle d'Alcantara, the Nebrodi nature reserve and the Parco dell'Etnea all offer fantastic outings and wonderful nature walks.
The Alcantara valley is famous for the ‘Gole Alcantara’: a gorge formed by the volcanic activity of the Mount Etna. Here the river Alcantara flows through the amazing rock formations made of lava. You can hike through the gorge and bathe in the cool, refreshing water.

Hill Towns
The nearby typical Sicilian hill town Motta Camastra offers birds nest views of the Alcantara Valley. It was used as backdrop for the town of Corleone in 'The Godfather' movies. Want to take a break from the privacy, peace and solitude that the cottage has to offer. Take a trip to the magical town of Taormina, the tourist heart of Sicily for more spectacular views, fascinating archaeological monuments, outstanding restaurants and plenty of shopping.

Up for a swim? The beautiful beaches of the Ionian Riviera are close and easily accessible. The beach at Giardini Naxos with its azure blue water, sandy beaches and many good restaurants, bars and nightclubs is within an easy drive. The seaside village of Letojanni is another favorite for fun at the beach and delicious fresh seafood restaurants. If you're looking for a more isolated and peaceful beach to relax soak up sun head up to the beach of San Marco a 20 min drive away.
