The house features a bright, loft-like ground floor with high ceilings, modern furniture, and a cozy fireplace (wood available for a fee). The open-plan living room connects to a fully equipped kitchen with a hot air oven, microwave, dishwasher, double-door fridge with ice maker, and an espresso machine. There is also a toilet with bidet and sink, as well as a separate laundry room with a washing machine.
Upstairs you’ll find three sleeping areas, all with air conditioning: a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed , a bedroom with two single beds, and a third sleeping space with a 1.40m-wide double bed separated from the hallway by panel curtains. The modern bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet, and bidet.
The lush garden surrounding the house is peaceful and full of character, with shaded areas under olive and avocado trees. The private pool is yours alone to enjoy—no one else lives on the property.
**Setting — please read before booking**
The villa is in genuine Sicilian countryside, not a resort or a gated development. We love it for what it is, and we want guests to arrive knowing what to expect:
- The grounds are roughly 20,000 m² and terraced. They are not fully fenced. The setting is private and beautiful, but if you're travelling with very young children or pets, you'll want to keep an eye on them outside.
- Being in the countryside means nature is close — occasional insects, the odd lizard on a wall, and very rarely a small visitor that finds its way in through the wide sliding doors. We keep the house clean and well maintained, and our cleaners check thoroughly between every stay, but the house is not hermetically sealed and shouldn't be expected to feel like a city apartment.
- The road in is rural and a car is essential. There is no public transport at the property.
- Nights are quiet and dark — wonderful for stars, less so if you're used to city light.
If this matches what you're looking for, you'll love it here. If you prefer an urban or resort setting, we'd gently suggest a different listing — we want every guest to have the right kind of holiday.
**The area**
The house is located in a quiet, rural area ideal for exploring the coast, Mount Etna, and the villages of eastern Sicily. You’ll find excellent local food everywhere—family-run restaurants, coffee bars, and wine producers offering a true taste of Sicily.
This is an ideal base for a relaxing stay with nature, privacy, and comfort, yet close to the beach, towns, and local culture. A car is recommended.
