Relax and unwind overlooking 70+ acres of beautiful preserved farmland. Magnolia Cottage was built 15 years ago and is both charming and modern. The living space includes beautiful hardwood floors, large windows with natural light, a beautiful wraparound porch and back patio so that you are always surrounded with a beautiful farm view. The spacious 5-bedroom house is perfect for reunions, family vacations and needed escapes to the country.

Enjoy overlooking beautiful farmland, with the amenities of quality beds, a fully stocked kitchen, Amish-made dining room table, and a living room with a gas fireplace and Smart TV. The wraparound porch is perfect for relaxing, bird watching, reading a book, and drinking coffee. The patio provides the perfect location for an evening of grilling and making s’mores over the fire pit.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a drip coffee pot, fridge, a gas stove top, two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster. You will also have pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, and dinnerware for your use.

There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom including a double vanity and walk-in shower with a rain showerhead. Three bedrooms have two twin beds, which can be used as two beds or easily combined to make a king-sized bed. One bedroom has a full-sized bed and a twin bed. There are two additional bathrooms (3 full bathrooms total) on the 2nd floor. Each contains a double vanity, bathtub and shower. One, Jack and Jill bathroom, is in-between two of the bedrooms. We provide towels and washcloths for you, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a washer and dryer available for use on the first floor.

The home is equipped with internet and includes a TV with wireless access to Netflix, Hulu, etc.

The backyard is perfect for grilling, games, and sitting around the fire. In the large basement you can enjoy a game of ping pong. There is a basketball hoop in the driveway, and the surrounding area draws people from all over the county for long bike rides. Within walking distance is Daniel’s Den Playground, that includes a ½ mile walking trail, sports fields, and a creative playground for children.

No 3rd party bookings or weddings on the property. The price is based on a max of 10 people on the property (including day guests). Additional people, with a max of 13, are priced at $50 per person/per day. Must be 25 to book a stay.

The early check-in/late check-out policy is (when available) 1 hour of early check-in OR late check-out FREE of charge. Additional time (after the 1 hour) is $40 an hour. This is dependent on availably with the cleaning schedule.

We look forward to welcoming you to Magnolia Cottage! My family has farmed in this area for generations and would love to share the serene farmland experience with you. I live most of the year in NYC and share the hosting with my parents, Richard and Audrey who live on a nearby farm. Our goal is to provide a peaceful retreat in the country. Guests will have complete privacy in the home, but we are close by, available if needed, and enjoy meeting you when we have a chance.
