This is a working Texas Longhorn Ranch, this apartment is separate from the house, with entry private. Has a small wet bar, Living area looks out to pasture and has a sleep sofa, small kitchenette, with refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. Bathroom has shower big
enough for two. The ranch has a private gated entry. We are a working ranch so if you inquire and we don'trespond for 6 or 8 hours it is noisy on tractor and around cattle so be patient. Welcome Snow birds and Europeans .

The space
Watch the sun go down over a pasture of horses and Texas longhorn cattle. Walking the yard along pasture as the sun comes down or up. You are welcome to sit on back porch or join us if we are using it.

Jane and I are in our early 70s and blessed with good health and aging well. Jane spent 30 years in the hotel industry and retired as the Houston area Human Resource Director for Marriott international Hotels so she will talk to you. I have had a construction company for 46 years and am semi retired. We are a Michigan State university Alumni and Aggie family. Don't
be afraid to ask the question. Ask for the WiFi code or check guest book in room. If you have a house broke small pet that are on leach ask and we will consider. We hesitate because there are lots of animals plus our dogs that your pet may not respond well to.

This is out in the country, there are restaurants and shops in Montgomery about 5 miles away. We are very close to many wedding venues if you are out here for a wedding. There are several historical site within a 25 mile radius. Lake Conroe is about 8 miles away. Texas A&M is a 40 minute drive.

My work: I am part time retired, rancher and construction company owner. My wife Jane is retired Regional HR Director for Houston area for Marriott Hotels International.
The is a small working Texas longhorn ranch. Jane and I live in the main house and are here to make your visit memorable. We are happy to give you a tour of animals and introduce you to our 2 dogs, Bits the Fox Terrier, and a crazy Border collie they are lovers and you will be greeted with barking.
