The "Trekkershus" used to be a deep-sea container that was at home all over the world. Converted into a comfortable and extraordinary tiny house in 2017, it is now looking forward to welcoming guests from all over the world. Embedded in the "PlatzProjekt" - the showcase project for alternative urban development in Hanover - it offers guests a sustainable and individual overnight stay thanks to natural building materials.
Are you looking for an experience away from boring hotel lobbies and 08/15 stalls? Then come by!

The space
The tiny house was built exclusively with ecological building materials and focuses on sustainable, individual tourism. True to the idea of minimalism, it offers natural comfort in a minimal space. Each piece of furniture was made with a lot of love for detail.
Guests can enjoy a spacious roof terrace, a small outdoor kitchen, an outdoor bathroom and a cozy retreat and sleeping space for a maximum of 2 people.
Also ideal for people who work independently of location: The tiny house has a stable and fast Internet connection!

Other things to note
Due to the current situation, I adhere to Airbnb's extended cleaning protocol, which is based on expert recommendations. Here are some key points:
- I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob.
- I use cleaners and disinfectants recommended by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination.
- I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists.
- I provide extra cleaning supplies so guests can clean the space during their stay.
- I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines.

Neighborhood highlights

The Trekkershuus is embedded in Hanover's model project for alternative city development - the "PlatzProjekt" (see platzprojekt.de). Since 2016, it has been nationally known as a lighthouse project for innovative urban development and cultural hotspot. Whether cycling workshop, community-sufficient bakery or massage containers, the exciting environment is ideal for participation. If you prefer to retreat, you can do just as well on your own roof terrace - this is excellent for an exciting book in the sun.
In the summer, the square is very busy and the skate park next door is very popular, so it is always exciting. There are concerts, readings, and cozy sitting at the fire barrel. But this can also go in until the night, Oropax is ready for the emergency.
