Our yurt is popular for adventurous travelers who like to stay in a unique outdoor environment. We believe that a great camping experience should be comfortable and easy going. During your stay at River Park Resort you will see lots of adventurous people floating by our spot and perhaps you'll get inspired to join them! If you choose to relax in our beautiful riverside setting you'll have a amazing time as well. There are many restaurants and bars which are an easy walk from our resort.

The space
We recommend that you bring basic camping gear such as flashlights, toiletries, sleeping bags and towels. We have a resort bathroom that is a 1 minute walk from our yurt. Our property is well lit at night with side walks and gravel paths. The yurt does not have electricity but there are plugs nearby to charge your phones and batteries.

During your stay you may choose to do a river adventure and there are several rafting outfitters nearby. There is also a beautiful swimming hole nearby. Gold panning and fly fighing are also popular in our area. We are 1 mile downstream from the world famous Marshall Gold Discovery Park. This is where the California Gold Rush started in 1848. The park has many interesting exhibits, a brand new museum and a fairly strenuous 3 mile hike which makes a great morning workout with spectacular views of the Coloma valley. We have several restaurants located just outside of our resort so cooking is not required during your stay. Camp supplies are available nearby as well.
