The "Little House" sits on a rare inholding within the borders of Acadia National Park, overlooking Somes Sound. It is completely surrounded by wilderness and ocean, is easily accessible and is a 10-minute drive from Northeast Harbor and 20 min from Bar Harbor. The space
**Except for the month of May and into June, we generally only accept Friday to Friday rentals**

The Little House has one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a newly renovated bathroom. The living room has a futon for a guest and a half bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal (including a lobster pot), and there is electric heat plus a Vermont Castings wood stove. (Yes, we provide the wood.)

The 300sf wraparound deck is cantilevered off a granite ledge, practically over Somes Sound and has a gas grill. There is a yoga platform right on the water, via a small path. The Internet is generally fully capable for remote work, video calls, etc…, but due to remote location, heavy use across multiple devices could cause delays. A small stream and a footbridge separate the "Little House" from the "Big House." Both homes are private and isolated from each other with their own parking areas.

Note: The 25 yard long earthy path leading down to the house from the parking spot is a little steep, so please take that into consideration when booking.

Guest access
You have the entire property on your side of the stream, as well as a dedicated parking. Parking is only in small lot at top of drive. From there , there are steps , and a well lit path down to Little House. Follow a short path from the house to the water for private swimming rocks and your own 150sf yoga platform.

Other things to note
A small stream and a footbridge separates the Little House from the Big House. We ask you do not cross bridge onto Main house property at any time. Thank you. Both homes are private and isolated from each other, and we asks guests to be respectful of one another.
