Cabin style, it is a basic well appointed clean and tidy space that is reasonably priced. Short term monthly rentals to All season accommodations daily or weekly. Summer lake fun, local hiking, legendary fishing, snowmobiling/ ATV riding or hunting on gamelands. We're appx. 200 ft from the state snowmobile/ATV trails. Two miles from the Salmon River (Pineville Bridge) . Lake Ontario is only a 15 minute drive. Minutes off the 81 corridor.

The space
This neglected turn of the century home was our 2020 restoration project. The upstairs apartment is still in the works, but downstairs is ready for you. We aim to provide a clean, quiet and comfy place to enjoy all the area activities. The tiny Hamlet of Richland has a convenience store and gas nearby plus the Richland Hotel restaurant / bar is also within walking distance. The house is centrally located to all area attractions. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do!

Where you’ll be

Richland, New York, United States

WE are located directly across the street from the Holiness Camp on County Route 48. The neighboring house is the main House Richland , our sister property. The neighbors are welcoming but wish to have quiet time observed as to not disrupt the community vibe.
You will see and hear Amish traveling past the house and around the community, be respectful and use caution when passing the horse and buggy in your car.
The freight trains are a regular sight and sound so please heed the warning bells and whistles while going through town.

We are simple people who enjoy the little things in life and never sweat the big stuff because life is just too short to fuss over such stuff!
John and Kerry are old school, tree hugging, peace lovin hippie types, haha. We believe in sustainable living and practice recycling, reusing, re-purposing, repairing and plain ole making do.
