This circa 1894 barn has been decked out for an in-town glamping experience! Mins to downtown but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle for a more rustic country-in-the-city slumber. With a vintage farm vibe, the comfy and romantic set up includes all the amenities you need for a night of indoor glamping on the farm.
PLEASE NOTE: The property is not available for pro photography or group gatherings. This listing is available year long. Please be mindful of outdoor temps when booking.

The space
Our barn loft includes a private entrance/ladder with a hatch door/lock. Once you reach the loft, you will find many of the comforts of an old homestead including an antique (working) refrigerator and Hoosier cabinet equipped with dishes, basic kitchen tools, an electric tea pot and French press, coffee, tea, and a few local beverages. The sitting area includes a vintage dining table and chairs, reading materials, and games. Bring a meal upstairs or enjoy one downstairs in "the coop" which is especially wonderful at sunset. The full size bed includes organic linens and a canopy net (bugs can happen in a barn) as well as a large floor fan for warm nights and electric blankets for cooler ones. And don't fret, although there is no indoor plumbing, there is a (brand new) user-friendly composting toilet and filtered water for drinkin' and washin' up.
Note: Although the barn is completely yours during your stay, the 4 acre farm is a shared space that includes our families farmhouse, 2 tiny house rentals, our tiny house shop, a garden, and a few free roaming pets. Things are generally quiet at night but other guests and employees may come and go and our shop is generally open during normal business hours. (Although our guys know to hush it when there's guests.) This is a glamping experience meaning there is power, toileting, and traditional furniture but the space is more comparable to tent camping in terms of privacy and outdoor temps. Feel free to message us before booking with any questions.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the loft and pasture area outside the loft/awning as well as "the coop" for take out meals, drinks, and fresh air.

Other things to note
The barn is 125 yrs old. Many of the floor boards have been replaced and although generally safe, there are no rails around the ladder/at the hayloft door. We ask that use good judgement and caution in using this space. Light shines through the siding boards but no one is able to see in. There is no heat or AC. Bugs and wildlife may occur. The roof may leak in some areas during heavy rain. Guests should think of this as a step up from camping similar to renting a campground cabin.
