The apartment of 200 square meters is part of a farmhouse of the 1600, it easily accommodates 6 people, it has 3 large bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen with fireplace, two bathrooms and a breathtaking view, overlooking the Tuscan countryside up to Montalcino .

The space

The house is very large, it is suitable for a large family or for three couples who need their privacy. It is on the first floor of a large farmhouse.
The apartment was renovated in the style of nineteenth-century Sienese countryside villas, with walls and ceilings hand-painted, carpets and antiques furniture, it will make you spend a truly fabulous holiday.
You get access to the apartment by a large travertine staircase, which overlooks the front garden, on the balcony there is a small breakfast table, from here you enter the kitchen, where you will find: oven, refrigerator, hob, dishwasher , washing machine, a fireplace, table and chairs, a sideboard with dishes and glasses, also: cookware, cutlery, coffee machine, coffee maker, kettle, mixer, toaster, tablecloth and tea towels.
The living room has a sofa with two armchairs, a table where to eat, a balcony, where you can hang out the laundry, which overlooks the hills below.
The bedrooms are spacious, two of them are double and one has two single beds. In each one there is a wardrobe with pillows and blankets.
There are two bathrooms: the biggest has a bathtub and the other one a shower.
In the house there is also an ironing board with iron.

Guest access

Front of the house, surrounded by vast green spaces, there is a large garden full of trees, flowers and a beautiful rose garden. The space is equipped with a hammock, tables, chairs and barbecue.
Behind the farm there is a lovely swimming pool, shared with any guests of the other apartments. Here you can find refreshment during the hot summer days, lie down in the shade or in the sun, enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, savoring the sweet figs of plants that surround it.
Those who love the country life can relax walking along the streets of our farm, go into the forest and discover the various paths that start right from our farm.
There is also a lake where to fish, and in the evening, on the porch of our cellar, you can enjoy some good red wine accompanied by cheese and Tuscan salami.
Guests can pick seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables.
In late October those who want can participate in the grape harvest, which ends with a rich lunch of Tuscany and Puglia specialties.
The farm is divided into two neighboring properties, each with independent spaces. Guests can only use the swimming pool on our property (ie the one shown in the photo: the other one is my aunt's!).
The property has several apartments, each one with private entrance and garden, where the privacy of every guest is guaranteed.

Other things to note

To stay with us, it is essential to have a car, as the nearest village, Murlo, is 4 km from the farm.
Our farm, 120 hectares, grows biological products.
The pool is shared with the guests of our apartments.
For those who want to go cycling, we have 2 mountain bikes.
For cooking enthusiasts, my brother Emanuel (excellent cook), organizes courses of Italian cooking. He usually accompanies our guests to pick seasonal vegetables from our garden. These vegetables, together with our garden herb, become tasty dishes.
For those wishing to get closer to nature and to undertake spiritually guided healing paths, we organize courses and experiences of shamanic journeys and past life regression therapy, in English, taught by psychotherapist Letizia Girolami.

Beautiful, elegant, spacious apartment. It had everything we needed. Mikela and her family went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay in Tuscany so lovely. Emmanuel brought us delicious food. We especially enjoyed the wine and pici.

I can't say enough about the Masciello family and the fabulous, picturesque home we had the pleasure of enjoying. They are the kindest people and their wine is delicious!! We drank 10 bottles while there for the week. We will DEFINITELY come back and stay here because the experience was Tuscan perfection

Staying at this farmhouse was a wonderful experience. We stayed on the upper floor in the three bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We had six people in our group and we had plenty of room. The living room is very large and a nice place to sit and visit. The views at the house and all surrounding areas are beautiful. Our host family was so very gracious and even prepared a wonderful meal for us. It was so much fun to sit and have dinner with the host family. Their English is limited and our Italian limited, but we still managed to communicate and enjoy each others company. We had day trips to Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and even did a cooking lesson. The home is very clean, beautifully decorated and has outdoor bbq and table area. The landscaping at the home is resort like with beautiful vines, flowers, and other special décor. I highly recommend this host family and this home.

We had a wonderful two week stay at this beautiful property. Michela and her family are incredibly wonderful hosts! The meals we shared with the family are some of the best we have ever experienced! The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay and the grounds itself are gorgeous and relaxing! Michela, herself, was always quick to respond and was extremely helpful when we had an issue with forgotten medication/postal difficulties. I highly, highly recommend staying at this beautiful accommodation with this wonderful family!

We loved our week stay at this apartment. We stayed in the top apartment which is very large and has three large bedrooms and two nice bathrooms, one with a tub. Michela's parents and brother are terrific and made us feel very welcome and like family. It's a small farm and the lodging is in a 300 year-old building. The view is spectacular and you can see Montalcino as well as other hill towns in the distance. The outdoor common areas are comfortable and the landscaping divine. You need a rental car to enjoy the surrounding area- the home was very easy to find using offline (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps of the area I downloaded before we left home. Miraculously, we were able to use the downloaded offline maps using our iPhone to navigate everywhere in Tuscany with voice directions- and we did not use any data or local cellular service. We were invited to two family dinners with our hosts and enjoyed the food and company very much. And the wine? Divine. Antonio is an expert vintner and makes fabulous wine, one of which will greet you upon your arrival and others bottles available for a very reasonable 10 euros a bottle. This wine was as good as any we had in Italy! It's a ten minute drive to the very well stocked grocery store called the Coop in Buonconvento where there are also several good restaurants. You can hike from the home on gravel roads where you will rarely see another car. I can't say enough great things about this property. Michela was always very, very prompt in responding to our emails or texts although we did not have the pleasure of meeting her during our stay.

Amazing property in Tuscany. Family who lives there are kind, warm and welcoming. Note, they do not speak a lot of English, but it wasn't a problem for my wife and I. Location is central and about an hour max from any place in Tuscany. We loved coming back "Home" to the property and can't wait to visit again!

My husband and 2 adult children spent 8 days at this slice of paradise just 30 mins south of Siena. As noted by other reviewers Michela and her family could not have been more welcoming. We did not arrive until after 8:00 PM and yet there awaited dinner on the table - fritata, salad, pasta and a bottle of their own wine - all very yummy. The family greeted us when we arrived and made sure we were all settled in for the night. We had the very good fortune to arrive the day before the harvest and were treated to a fabulous breakfast before the grape picking and then an even more fabulous lunch after the harvest. The area is stunning - rolling Tuscan hills - surrounded by farms. We awoke every morning to the sound of sheep and their bells as they moved out to pasture and the morning sun streaming through the living room windows. The apartment was spacious, and beautifully appointed but it was the surroundings that captured my heart. So peaceful and tranquil. Great wineries and the historic cities of Buonconvento, Montalcino, Siena, and Montalpuciano are all within 30 - 45 minutes. Michela and her family are very gracious hosts and were willing to help us at any time of the day. I can't thank them enough for opening their home to us.

Interaction with guests

With my family we will be available to welcome the guests as they arrive and for whatever their needs during their stay. We always welcome our guests with a bottle of good red wine and a snack of organic products of our farm.
My family does not live there, they work in Torrita di Siena, a town about 40 km from the farm, but at the arrival of the guests they are always present and always spend the weekend in the countryside.
I live and work in Rome, but I often go to the farm to help my and welcome our guests. I'm constantly in touch with guests through the mail Airbnb, for any emergency, guests can also turn to my aunt, who lives at the farm all year-round.

About Michela
