Great views over the rolling hills of the Val d'Orcia in this peaceful and smart Agriturismo. Quirky space for 2 good for a short break.

We had a fantastic stay at the farm cottage. It is in a really beautiful rural location with an amazing view. Its well very located for exploring nearby towns like Montepulciano, Monticchiello and Pienza. There were other guest in the main house but our studio was quite separate and private. The studio is pretty much as it appears in the photos in the listing and the pool is definitely a highlight. We really enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to recommend the cottage to friends or anyone visiting this part of Tuscany.

We had a fabulous time here! From the very outset, Andrea was easily contacted and answered any questions we had. We stayed here on the second part of our 'mini-moon' and it truly lived up to our expectations. The views are incredible, and it is situated in possibly the most picturesque part of Tuscany possible. We visited Monticchiello, Montepulciano, Pienza, Bangno Vignoni and San Quirico d'Orcia (which also had a good sized Coop). The flat itself was immaculate, and just what we needed. The whole of 'Le Macchie' was incredibly quiet, and often we were there on our own by the pool. We hired a car, and this is essential as you aren't in a walkable distance to any amenities. Also, be aware of the gravel driveway as it can be a little precarious when loaded with 4 suitcases, driving up a steep gradient! Andrea was on hand to answer questions should we have them via text, and there was also another gentlemen who welcomed us. The flat was very well stocked with cooking equipment, and the quality of the cushions for the sunlounger both outside the flat and pool were great! Lastly, Andrea was kind enough to send me my necklace after I left it by the sink, which I think mirrors the service provided. We simply didn't want to leave!

The surroundings (natural preserve) were overwhelming, the tastefully equipped apartment cosy and the possibility to play music at any time of day and night a treat. We felt most welcome and were hosted in a very friendly way. We hope to be back at a later time.

Ciao! I love Italy and it's beauty. I live between Rome, Tuscany and Sicily and i try to do my best to make my guest's stay memorable. I love food and wine, travelling, playing guitar and sailing; this is my brand new passion!
I usually use Airbnb as a guest too and every time i do that i learn a little bit more how to make my guests/friends more at home even if there are away from home.
