Enjoy the relaxed and comfortable enclosure of the Birdbox. Sleep right beside nature and its amazing surroundings. Lay down and look at the spectacular mountains all around you. Put on your skis and have a breathtaking journey around the nearby trails. Hike down to Langelandsvatnet in the summer and enjoy swimming in energizing water. Your imagination is the limit for what you can experience.

The space
The Birdbox is situated 15 minutes by car from Førde. Upon arrival at Langeland Ski Resort, you'll drive thru an automatic parking fee gate and park by the resort where you'll meet the host. After parking, there is a 45-minute hike uphill to the Birdbox, which can be quite wet when there is no snow. Good hiking shoes are recommended, and extra gear such as snowshoes or skis can be rented from us for free. Normally, we guide the guests to the Birdbox if they don't already know the way.

The closest grocery store is in Førde so it's important that you bring enough food for the stay. We can offer breakfast, which will be there upon arrival. Dinner can also be arranged from a local chef or restaurant in a takeaway bag.
