My 100 Year Old Waco Home is the perfect place to stay in Waco. Located one mile from Magnolia Silos and Market and Baylor University, the home was completely remodeled in 2019. While updating 100% of the home, the home still has original wood floors and ceilings, and shiplap. A new wrap around porch was added overlooking a beautiful oak tree. The home has state of the art appliances and electronics, a gourmet kitchen plus luxurious linens and all new furniture. Waco License STR000085-01-2020.

The space
My 100 Year Old Waco Home was originally built in 1912 and purchased in 2018 by Leslie and her husband. Leslie is a designer, blogger, and influencer at MY 100 Year Old Home and shared the entire remodeling journey on her blog and Instagram.

The home was completely redone and has a new wrap around porch which is a perfect place to relax. The side porch overlooks the yard and a wonderful oak tree. The features a gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances and is fully furnished to host sixteen for dinner. As an accomplished cook, Leslie took care to furnish the kitchen as if she would be entertaining and baking in it herself.

Leslie’s goal in furnishing the home was to mix new traditional furniture with vintage pieces that preserved the character of a one hundred year old home. The chandelier above the dining room table was built by Leslie and has a vintage ladder and three new chandelier lights. Only quality furnishings were used in the home and no detail was spared in this three bedroom, two bath home.
