The perfect getaway for old-fashioned fun. Relax on the porch. Watch the deer in the yard in the mornings and evenings. Kick back & relax, or go out and enjoy the area's many attractions.

The space
Private, easily accessible yet set among oaks and pines. Relaxing porch. Fully equipped kitchen. Charcoal grill in front lawn. Conveniently located between Desoto State Park and charming downtown Mentone (with its 2 award-winning restaurants and numerous artist galleries). Minutes away from Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon, and a host of outdoor activities. After a day of kayaking, hiking, cycling, or horseback riding roast marshmallows in the outdoor firepit.

Neighborhood highlights

Mentone is a quaint and welcoming village that will steal your heart. Lookout Mountain, where the property is located, is one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I especially love soups at the Wildflower Cafe, and am sure you'll find your favorites as well. Cabin is located at the end of a short, dead-end street that has only 3 other cabins. Beside and behind it are woods. You'll have privacy, woods, and a quiet place to relax.
