Overlooking the Pedernales River, our 400 sq. ft. treehouse-style yurt is a one of a kind adults-only romantic retreat for couples/friends who want both adventure and comfort and music-wineries close by.

Start your morning with coffee on the patio, then go kayaking, fishing, or swimming right off our boat dock.

The space
Perched above the Pedernales River, our one-of-a-kind 400 sq. ft. treehouse-style yurt is designed exclusively for adults seeking romance, adventure, privacy, and a little magic. Tucked among the trees, this custom retreat blends the charm of glamping with the comforts of luxury—making it the perfect escape for two.

Step onto your private patio in the morning and sip coffee as you watch the birds and wildlife in the lake. Spend the day kayaking or fishing on the river, or simply relax in the quiet beauty of nature. As the sun sets, unwind in your private hot tub, sip wine under a canopy of stars, or cozy up around the propane fire pit with your favorite music playing in the background.

Inside, you’ll stay cool and comfortable with air conditioning, a plush bed, and thoughtful touches throughout. Outside, the griddle grill makes cooking fun and effortless, whether you’re whipping up a casual breakfast or grilling dinner under the stars.

At Safari for the Soul, we believe in slowing down, recharging, and reconnecting. Guest access
Come through the black gates and park in last driveway on the left near the golf cart. Use the golf cart to load your things and drive down the black road to the left to your tent.

Other things to note
Owners do live on site but do not have a direct view to your hot tub our bathroom area and only partial view to your deck.

No breakfast is provided but you can use grill side burner to cook eggs or use the microwave. Great breakfast taco trailer 5 min away on corner of old ferry/Pacebend road.

We have an outside sink installed for washing your dishes.

Our first love and passion is definitely travel, adventure, and meeting new people! Other fun tidbits...we are foodies, extremely active in wake sufing, snow skiing, dancing, and working out. Love love beaches and scuba diving/zip lining. Denise and Scott had a vision to create Hill Country Glamping experiences with beautiful Lake Travis water views surrounded by nature. Safari for the Soul is THE go-to place where couples and friends can Reconnect, Reset, and Relax. Scott built all of these amazing yurt-like tent structures and together they strive to provide the ultimate private, comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay at their ranch properties in Marble Falls and Spicewood. During your stay many memorable soulful moments to discover…. should you enjoy the outdoor shower and private hot tub, an afternoon sunset kayak adventure, and then snuggle up in front a Texas campfire ….or perhaps lounge on the front deck with dinner and wine under the stars. Whatever you choose to do….just make sure you are not the one wishing you had booked this experience for the both of you!
