Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.

Mountain and valley views

Soak up the views during your stay.
Nestled on a magical, wooded mountainside high atop the Northeast Kingdom, the Analog Cabin is a glamper's dream come true.

A music studio, writer's cabin, and rustic glamping paradise, it sits in the middle of a small 2-acre farmstead surrounded by thousands of acres of forest. Property shared with 2 houses. Wake to the sunrise over the mountains. Read. Listen. Unwind.

Minutes from Caspian & Shadow Lakes, Parker Pie, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Hill Farmstead Brewery, and ski resorts.

The space
Before you book (please read):
This is a rustic experience so bring the right spirit with you! There is electricity. Water comes from a foot pump under the sink. There is an outhouse, and a heated shower house (manual pump shower) a short walk outside the cabin. In winter, you’ll need to bring 1–2 bundles of small firewood per day and be comfortable using an outhouse. This is a cozy, rustic stay—not a conventional cabin.

The cabin

The Analog Cabin began as a childhood dream and was built in 2019 by me and my late brother. Every log weighs between two and four thousand pounds. Every notch was carved by hand. It’s imperfect, intentional, and deeply loved.

Inside you’ll find a queen-sized American Leather Comfort Sleeper bed, a desk, dining table, shelves made from antique delivery boxes, and a compact kitchenette with a mini-fridge, induction cooktop, and toaster oven. A wood stove heats the space and sets the tone for quiet, cozy nights. The cabin is romantic, simple, and designed for slowing down—any season of the year.

Privacy

You have the cabin, porch, outhouse, and shower house entirely to yourself. There is another Airbnb (the yellow house) about 50 feet away and friendly neighbors on the property. While this isn’t total seclusion, no one can see inside the cabin.

Good to know

Bring 1–2 bundles of short (<16 inch) firewood per winter day.

Showering is done with a hand-pumped tank — add a kettle of boiling water and cold water to taste.

Kitchen is small but functional: hot plate, toaster oven, mini-fridge.

Winter driving here is real—snow tires are essential, AWD strongly recommended (road and driveway are plowed)

12–15 minutes to Barton, Craftsbury, and Greensboro for groceries

Close to lakes, rivers, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Kingdom Trails, Burke, Jay Peak, Stowe—and Hill Farmstead Brewery and Jasper Hill Farm (worth the hype)
