The space
Our townhome is comfortable, clean, new and fresh. The high-end finishes, new furniture, new towels, and linens give it a refined but relaxed feeling. On the first floor, you're welcomed with a spacious entryway that is supplied with lots of hooks for hanging jackets, backpacks, walking sticks, etc. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, the washer/dryer. The first-floor bedrooms each have a new, comfortable queen bed, and in 1 bedroom there is a twin bed. There is a twin air mattress available for use in the second bedroom. The middle floor is where you'll find the kitchen, living, dining areas. The open floor plan allows for great communication with everyone and plenty of elbow room. There are many south facing windows that allow the sun to shine in, making it bright, sunny and cozy. The spacious master bedroom is located on the third floor. It has a king bed, a twin bed, and a full bed and an ensuite bathroom. Being on the third floor, the master is close to everything but can offer a private getaway when needed.

Bedroom arrangement:
#1 - 3rd floor - master with bathroom - 1 King, 1 twin, 1 full
#2 - 1st floor - shared bathroom - 1 Queen, 1 twin
#3 - 1st floor - shared bathroom - 1 Queen

Our bed configuration offers a tremendous amount of flexibility for various sleeping arrangements to accommodate many scenarios...1 - 3 couples, 1 - 3 families, a large family, extended family, groups of friends! We also have "The Red Lady Guesthouse", another AirBnB rental 3 doors down on the same block. It has almost the same layout. This allows for a large group to be in very close proximity to each other. Great for weddings, family reunions, company parties, special events, etc.

There is a patio off the front of the house. It has a grill and offers a nice place for an afternoon or evening drink.

There are 2 "off-street" parking spaces provided. In the summer there is plenty of other street parking and parking at the school lot available. In the winter, we do have additional "off-street" parking available about 1 block away. This allows you to not have to move your vehicles from side to side due to winter parking regulations.

There is a Pack & Play crib available upon request, free of charge. Other Kiddo equipment can be rented from "Little Sparrow".

We provide 2 "townie" bikes for your use during your stay. This offers a convenient way to get to the grocery store or downtown.

Guest access
The entire townhome is available to the guests. There is a front yard, side yard, and patio area as well.

Our neighborhood is special and unique because you have all the convenience of being in town but don't have to drive through the slow traffic of downtown to get to it. We're located directly across the street from the school's parking lot, playground, basketball hoops, and soccer field. This is nice for overflow parking. And if you have young children it's perfectly located for playtime. It's 1/2 block from the main town park and Center For The Arts, where the Alpenglow Summer Concert Series is held. It's across the park from Clark's grocery store, Majestic Theater, Frank's Deli, Ace Hardware. It's minutes from the free and paid Nordic trails, rec path and summer swimming hole at the Slate River. Rainbow Park is a couple of blocks away. Access to numerous single-track hiking and biking trails is out the door! No need to drive if you don't want to.

Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile page. I'd like to give you a little background info about myself and my family. My husband, Jimmy Faust, and I have lived in Crested Butte a combined 70 years! We've both been in CB on average 35 years...we're almost locals, haha! I grew up in Winchester, VA and then went to school at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I received a BS in Hospitality Management and an MBA in Business Administration. I went on to work in NYC in the hotel industry but needed to make my way back to the mountains. I've made Crested Butte my home where I birthed and raised my children. My husband is from Pierz, MN, a small farming town in central MN. He attending St Cloud State for 1 year and then transferred to Western State College in Gunnison, CO, where he earned his BS in Marketing. He managed "The Bakery Cafe" for 12 years while concurrently starting his construction business. He continues to be a highly acclaimed builder in CB. He is also know for his tenure of winning titles of the infamous "Elk Mountain Grand Traverse". We both have "grown up" in Crested Butte...we've witnessed and experienced all the changes to the area. We absolutely love living in the Gunnison Valley...every aspect of it...We enjoy the beauty, the community, and the challenges. We both are avid skiers, mountain bikers, and hikers. We're happy to share our extensive knowledge of the area and trails with you. Because of our love of mountain biking, we own homes in Sedona, AZ and Moab, UT...also mountain biking and hiking meccas like Crested Butte. We currently short term rent our place in Sedona when we can't be there. Our goal is to retire and rotate between the 3 spots, as the seasons change, following the best mountain biking conditions. We look forward to hosting you! Please contact me with any questions you may have. Best to you!
