Our Historical Loft lies in the heart of downtown Mobile, AL. Located directly above The Merry Widow (bar & music venue), this space is perfect for those who want a taste of the great nightlife Downtown Mobile has to offer!

The space
Located directly above our venue The Merry Widow, we're a great central location to experience all of the downtown entertainment district's best spots and VERY walkable.
The space is modern, clean, and showcases some of the rich architectural history this city has to offer. Less than 5 minute walk to Mobile Convention Center, Historic Dauphin Street, Saenger Theater, Mobile Arena(2027).

This space isn't for everyone, as on show/event nights the music downstairs could play late (typically till 11PM). *This airbnb is intended for overnight stays only, If you are interested in an event/party space, please specify in message for rates*

Neighborhood highlights

We are located in the heart of Mobile's Downtown Entertainment District. Some of the city's finest restaurants, bars, parks, coffee shops, museums, churches & historical sites are located within walking distance. We're also only a 10 minute drive from the many activities located on the Mobile Bay including The USS Alabama Battleship Park, 5 Rivers Delta Nature Resource Center, plus fishing spots & great seafood markets.
**PLEASE NOTE** As this loft is located above a bar, on nights when live music is happening downstairs, the space may be loud until later in the evening(events found here: www.themerrywidow.net) . Being in a downtown area, close to the river you will also hear regular traffic noises as well as train & large ships occasionally. The Cathedral bells (located two blocks away) also chime regularly during the day & on holidays.
We recommend staying here if you're interested in exploring downtown and don't mind the hustle and bustle of the city life.
