Kumbura is a calm, serene environment far removed from the bustle of vibrant Sri Lanka. The furniture is lean and elegant. Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and the kitchen are designed with attention to every detail. The house is built for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, with spacious dining and relaxing areas. It is nestled amongst nature. Sitting by the pool, you can see it all: buffalo, peacock and monkeys feasting on bananas. The house is secluded, blissful and invites a gentle escape.

The space
The space: We designed the house with children in mind, creating a child-friendly environment (we have 3 of our own).
The pool has easy access and can easily viewed from the house to keep an eye on children. Both pool and bathroom floors are non-slip surfaces. There is a washing machine on site, a fully equiped kitchen so you can easily cook your own family meals, filtered water, and a family room with adjoining bedrooms. There is a total of 3 bedrooms in the main house. Additionally, there is a detached air conditioned garden bedroom pavilion for those who desire a bit more privacy.
