In the southern Dalarna's diverse cultural landscape lies this idyllic farm. Only 200 meters from Bysjön with a private swimming area and several small boats you can rent (two rowing boats, three canoes, and an Optimist dinghy).
The farm's guest house is over 160 years old but has recently been renovated. It has water and sewage as well as a new facade. The part that is rented out has four rooms and a kitchen as well as its own toilet. In addition, in the same house you can use a small bathroom with bathtub.
There are sleeping places for ten people!

The space
The farm's guest house is over 160 years old and has previously been used as a bakery and rough kitchen. Now we have installed water and sewage, replaced windows, insulated and replaced all the facades of the house!
On half of the lower floor, we have a garden café that is open on some weekends in the summer (Google Getgårdens Café!). There you can buy freshly baked bread, pizza pies, sandwiches, pastries and cakes.
The part that is rented out has four rooms and a kitchen as well as its own toilet. In addition, in the same house you can use a small bathroom with a whirlpool tub.

Guest access
We have had Café operations in the house but this year you have access to the whole house and it costs nothing extra! In addition to the Airbnb kitchen, there is a large modern extra kitchen in the house (with its own entrance, oven and dishwasher) that has been used for several years as a café in summer. There is a large amount of extra porcelain and utensils that can be borrowed.
The sauna is down by the lake and can be rented for SEK 200/half day, including firewood.
Rowing boat and canoe can be rented for SEK 200/half-day.
Fishing licenses for one of Dalarna's most fish-rich waters can be purchased at Falkudden's campsite or online.

Other things to note
On the farm there are goats, sheep, chickens and a cat, in summer also cows. It is important to close the electric fence behind you so that the animals do not escape!
