Please enjoy our newly updated cabin, 12/1/2025 - new King Sized Bed and Mattress, new granite countertop and new lighting. Brand new flooring and paint. Brand new furniture and appliances. This cozy little split level cabin is ideal for anyone! The cabin includes a pillow top king bed and a full bathroom as well as a nice sitting area. It also has a nice front porch and private balcony.
This is a hotel like room, there is a mini fridge and microwave but it does not contain a full kitchen.

We do allow Pets, but charge a $25 Fee per pet during your stay.

Neighborhood highlights
The Little Switzerland homestead dates back to at least 1891 when two Swiss families settled at this site in Newton County and it has always been an "oasis" for travelers. In horse and buggy days travelers would stop to rest and fill their water barrels before continuing on their journey. It took three days to travel the 18 miles from Jasper to Harrison and Little Switzerland was always the first stop before heading out over the rugged mountain terrain.
