Inviting Studio Loft Space with Private Bathroom in residential upper level of Historic 1907 Brick Feed Mill Building with Bike shop below.

On the 400/Elroy Sparta Bike Trail and Baraboo River with Sandstone Bluffs in Village of Wonewoc.

Approx. 30 min. from WI Dells in a peaceful village outside the tourist trap. On Route 33 with great outdoors in our back yard! Near Lake Redstone, Dutch Hollow Lake, Devil's Lake, Mirror Lake, Wildcat Mountain Castle Rock, and other rivers. Stay & Play!

The space
Stay in a historic brick feed mill building with wooden grain chutes, big timber beams, old freight elevator with beautiful pulley system, and right on the 400 State Bike Trail only blocks from the Baraboo River with sandstone bluffs. Located in a small downtown with groceries, gifts, antiques, restaurants, and more just a few paces away.

Private Studio Loft with a private cedar-lined bathroom with spa shower. There's a queen bed and meditation area up on a loft/bunk area (with low ceiling) above the bathroom and 2nd queen bed nook adjacent to the bathroom. Enjoy the sofa/futon for relaxing, reading, eating, watching movies on the tv (we have movies to use or bluebox nearby, sorry, no TV subscription so we all play outside more), or it serves as a third double-sleeper bed to accommodate 6 people. Its a cozy space that maximizes the use of the area, but hope you visit to enjoy our great surrounding outdoor playground.

The upper level living area is a constant work in progress as well is this studio loft guest room. The room is in lovely working order, and progress on finishes and more amenities will continue each month and each year. We are very happy to open the unique space to area visitors in the warmer seasons and fall into early winter months.

Other things to note
Old Talg's Mill Building is a continued work in progress that has come a long way and will continue to be improved with finishes, art, and fun added. Pictures show some unique features, but we leave some nice suprises for our guests to explore.

There is our operating business running below, and though we have insulated all and sound-proofed (with homosote, etc) the walls in the room as much as possible, there may be sounds from the lower level or from outside of the window transferred. We apologize that we can't fully control this if it occurs, but the access to the downtown, our shop, and the bike trail and nature out back we feel is worth it!!

This airbnb is located in a rural area with wonderful nature and the bugs that come with it. A variety of bugs are around the exterior of the property and may make their way into the space as anyone opens the door to enter or leave. There may be bugs present, despite our efforts to keep the space clean and as pest free as possible.

**NO PETS OR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ALLOWED. We have another First Floor Studio Airbnb listing that can be booked to bring a dog with the applicable pet fee. Anyone with dogs should book that space to have their dogs considered. Many Thanks

My husband and I love to travel. We are outdoor enthusiasts with a love for kayaking, hiking, climbing, and outdoor adventures. We like to experience new things and I enjoy art and architecture as well. We own a canoe/kayak & bike rental business and I also work in architecture while he works in a machine shop overnight. We look forward to many adventures and meeting new people!
