The home was designed by Chu+Gooding Architects, known for their work on the Getty Museum. It features exclusive design elements throughout, highlighted by superb finishes and glamorous detailing in each room. Elegant art and design, sheep skin rugs, polished concrete floor and modern dim-able inset and track lighting create the perfect environment for your stay.
The open-plan living room features a sunken dining area, comfy couches, media center and gas fireplace. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors infuse the house with natural light and lead out to the tranquil zen-like bamboo couch area with fire pit creating a seamless marriage of indoor/outdoor living.
Enjoy the new designer Bosch kitchen with fully-equipped new appliances; all the luxuries of a chef’s kitchen (blender, toaster, extra virgin olive oils and spices to boot.) Everything you need to cook up a storm and serve your guests in style.
The master bedroom upstairs includes a California king custom bed. The sliding glass doors open to a spacious roof top deck where you can enjoy the ocean breeze and hilltop view. Retreat to your luxurious sexy master suite overlooking Santa Monica and beyond with an enormous his and hers bathroom. A cot is available for children as well.
The downstairs bedroom features a double-size bed, wrap around office desk, with wall to wall windows over-looking the Zen-inspired front garden through glass French doors. This private bedroom / office, also has a full bathroom, small kitchenette, and washer / dryer.
The downstairs living area also features a pillowed covered single size that converts to a single bed which opens to the Zen-inspired front garden.
There is also a moveable cot that is great for a child and can be placed anywhere so desired. Guests often choose to put the cot in the upstairs master bedroom, perfect for a child to sleep close to the parents.

This is a non-smoking, non-party, non-location House and the Security Deposit will be forfeited if this occurs. Smoking outside at the porch area is okay.
Our House-Keeper comes every Monday and will be paid $ 150 by the Renters per week.
A complete HOUSE INFO pdf file will be sent to Guests before they arrive.

Vacation Rental Agreement “GETTY HOUSE” Thank you for your reservation.
No additional persons shall occupy said premises long term or any part thereof without manager's written consent and additional fees will be required.
Pets: Pets are allowed if first discussed and approved by the Manager in advance of the rental.
Liability: The undersigned Resident(s), whether or not in actual possession of the
premise, are jointly and sever ably liable for all obligations under the rental agreement,
and shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the owner for liability arising prior to the
termination of the agreement for personal and bodily injuries or property damage caused
or permitted by the negligence of the Resident(s), their guests and/or invitees. This includes the Resident's use of bicycles or surfboards or appliances.
No alterations: No repairs, decorations or alterations shall be done by Resident, without
owner’s prior written consent.
Maintenance: Resident shall keep the premises and furniture, furnishings, and
appliances and fixtures, which are rented for Resident’s exclusive use in good order and
condition. Resident shall pay owner for costs to repair, replace or rebuild any portion of
the premises damaged by Resident, resident’s guests and / or invitees. Plumbing issues
that result in a drain clog are the responsibility of the tenant. The Owner can assist in
negotiating a good rate for a plumber to help the Resident receive a fair rate.
Insurance: Owner does not insure Resident for any personal or bodily injury or property damage including, but not limited to, that caused by the act or omission of any Resident or third party, or by any criminal act, war, riot, insurrection, fire or act of God. Resident shall obtain & pay for any insurance coverage necessary to protect Resident, Resident’s property from losses or expense that may be caused by such persons or events.
Utilities: Utilities will be paid by Owner, but eco efficient use is required. For if the Resident uses utilities measurably beyond the average monthly bills, the Resident will be responsible for those charges. The Owner will present bills at end of stay if this occurs.
No assignment: No portion of said premises shall be sublet nor this agreement assigned.
Any attempted subletting or assignment by the Resident shall, at the election of Manager be an irremediable breach of this agreement.
The owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation if unforeseen circumstances arise.
Right of entry: The Owner or his agents or employees may enter the premises for: the owners personal items, in case of an emergency; to make necessary or agreed repairs, decorations, alterations, or improvement; to supply necessary or agreed services; to exhibit the dwelling unit to prospective or actual purchasers, lenders, residents, workmen, or contractors, provided the Resident is given reasonable notice ( unless an emergency ) prior to Owner’s intent to enter.
Keys / Remotes: The Resident will be given ( 2 ) sets of Keys with ( 2 ) Remotes.
Parking: The Resident is provided ( 1 ) parking space behind the remote controlled gate for only a mid-size vehicle. NOTE: It is the Resident's responsibility to CLOSE the gate at all times so that theft of items inside the compound does not occur.
This is a Non Smoking House: A $ 1,000 cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit if smoking occurs in the home. Smoking on the outside porch is okay.
Technical Assistance With Home: We are happy to be of service to help with non- emergency issues, including basic use instructions for the home. Most questions can be answered in your House Info Book and pdf or by a telephone call to the Property Manager or his back-up. If we are requested to make a personal visit and the information in the book or instructions by telephone are not followed correctly, then there is a $ 100 charge.
House Manager: Robert Mack is the House Property Manager or his back-up can be called if you need assistance at the House. Robert Mack will be held harmless to any such legal issues that my result from this rental agreement between the owner or tenants, guests, or invitees that are staying at this property. Any claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its commercial (or other) Arbitration Rules (including the Optional Rules for Emergency Measures of Protection) and judgment of the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) will be legally binding and enforceable in court.
This is a no Party house: Parties, loud get-togethers, or other large gatherings are not allowed because of neighbor issues, and possible damage to property. If a party, loud gathering, or loud disturbance does occur, or if neighbors or other tenants call regarding a verifiable unreasonable loud disturbance, you will forfeit your security deposit and will be evicted immediately.
