Year round indoor pool house that is 2000 square feet located in the lower adirondacks. There are several outdoor activities to do in the area...fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling,cross country skiing & restaurants. I do live on the property. I live on the second floor over my 2 car garage. There is one camera on the outside of pool house. It is angled to only see who is coming and going into and out of the pool house. Other then that I can not see anything. My other cameras are facing down my driveway, in front of my garage, in back of my garage and facing a private access road. When in season and your on the deck and patio I can not see you unless I am outside.
I had all new windows and doors install in 2021 and had them special ordered with a tint. NO ONE can see inside unless they are on the deck. And the deck wraps around 3 sides of the pool house. You have total and complete privacy.
I can not see you in the pool house and you can not see me in my house.
From the pool house main door to my main (which you can not see because its in the back of the structure) is 200 feet. To put it into perspective that is about 3/4 of a football field.
Come, enjoy, relax and create memories. You will love being in the heated pool during the fall looking outside through all the glass doors at the beautiful foliage. In the middle of winter watching the snowfall while you are splashing around in a heated pool. At the end of the day cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate on the comfy sofa and watch your favorite TV show. In the summer time, enjoy spending time on the wrap-around deck sipping drinks and having a BBQ and ending the day with making s’mores over an open fire. This property will not disappoint. You have everything you need for an awesome get away. You have complete privacy. My pool house is your pool house during your stay.

This is NOT a self check in property. I will be checking you in. I will be showing you how to uncover and cover the pool properly. The pool is yours to use 24/7. Your job is to have fun and my job is to control the humidity. I control the humidity from an app on my phone.
A heated pool creates humidity, humidity creates moisture and moisture creates mold. My guests are here to have fun and my job is to make sure you’re always comfortable and taking care of the health of the pool house.
I have changed my guest count to max of 4 adults. However, I will accept up to 6 guests if the extra guests are children. I consider 18 and younger accompanied by a parent or guardian “children” even though Airbnb does not. Please reach out to me and let me know the age range. For example if there are 2 parents and 4 children and 2 of those children happen to be considered an adult by airbnb standards that is fine just list them as adults and let me know. (It is up to me if I will allow 6 adults that do not fit the above policy)
If their are 4 adults booked for the pool house everyone must be at least 26.
The pool is NON-chlorinated. We use 4 high quality pool chemicals. We have a high tech UV system that when the water passes through the filter and before entering back into the pool it assists in killing viruses and bacteria and keeping the pool clean. The pool temp is kept between 89-94 degrees. What happens is the way we heat the When the pool is at 89 it will slowly rise over a couple of days and once it reaches 94 then it will slowly go back down until it reaches 89. But it’ll never go below 89. The pool still warmer then any hotel, ymca and most commercials pools which are about
80 degrees.

NO running in the pool house or pool area
NO jumping or diving into the pool .

This is a great place to “work from home” Excellent WiFi with space for a work station. Work while the children are enjoying themselves in the pool. The entire pool house is yours and you have complete privacy.

Fully equipped with a full bath, 1 bedroom/loft which sleeps 4 guestS. Two additional guests may sleep on the sofa sectional. There is a king sized bed and a full sized futon in the loft.

I do NOT provide pool floats. Unfortunately, they’re not treated properly and do not last as long as they should.
ANY ITEMS THAT YOU WANT TO BRING FOR THE POOL MUST BE APPROVED BY ME FIRST.
You have access to the internet. We have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime (I realize most people have their own Amazon Prime- you will just need to sign into the app) , paramount plus, Peacock and Fox Sports. We do not have cable or satellite TV.
I have a very high quality and expensive sound bar. All I ask is that if you have a playlist on your phone that you do NOT use the volume on your phone…you must use the sound bar remote. Using the volume on your phone will blow the speaker (this has happened twice before I realized what was causing the issue) I will check that it works properly after the completion of every reservation.
I do live on the property and will make myself available for whatever you might need or any questions you have.
Your comfort and happiness are very important to me. All I ask is that you have good communication with me during your stay.
We do have 2 dogs that live on the property. They are very friendly. We have a black lab and a Germen Shepherd. Guests are not allowed to bring any pets. Our dogs are very loving, friendly dogs and are well behaved. If you are not a dog person this is not the place for you to stay. My pups will be out and about on the property with me when I am working and they have free run when I let them out.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY DOES NOT LIKE ANIMALS OR HAS A FEAR OF DOGS. Dogs will sense your fear. Again, please do NOT make reservations if you have any fears at all regarding dogs.
Don’t forget to check out my GUIDEBOOK… I am very transparent. We have a lot of hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking and boating and very nice restaurants in the area. For anything above and beyond this you will have to travel 45-60 minutes.

Guest have total access and 100% use of the pool house all to themselves during their stay. When guests arrive I will go over the pool house guidelines. I will also explain and show guest how to open and close the pool during their stay. We are located in the foothills of the Adirondacks just outside the city on about 7 acres of land surrounded by dense tree lines butted up against state land. Neighbors can’t see us and we can’t see them. Unless you are hear during the Fall and Winter months then you can see the only 2 neighbors we have if you look close enough. It’s really quiet and peaceful here.
Other things to note
The pool house has a sectional sofa which 2 guest could sleep on. 4 guest in the loft and 2 on the sectional. One of the most important things during your stay is that when the pool is not being used it must be covered at all times. It takes less then a minute to uncover and cover the pool properly. Also, there is no diving in the pool. No jumping off the sides. We have what you call a sports bottom pool. The pool size is 16’x32’. Each end starts 3 feet deep and gradually gets deeper towards the middles and is 5’ deep.
