Get away from your busy life, and come relax in nature. Get back to the basics, while staying in a uniquely designed tiny house in the heart of the Ripshin mountains. There is also a private wood-burning sauna on the property that you're able to reserve upon your arrival.
The space
The Tiny House was designed and built by architect, Jesse Plaster. It's a unique cozy loft-style design, set back in the woods on our property. It's purposely placed next to a creek, with a nice stone fire ring to really enjoy the outdoors. Also next to the house are fire roads that allow you to hike the Ripshin Mountains. The Tiny house fit's 3 people comfortably. Additional headcount is $10 per person each night. Your welcome to squeeze them in the cabin, or pitch a tent. Children under the age of 10 are welcome to camp, but we do not allow them to sleep upstairs in the loft. It's an open loft, so it's too risky for them to fall from the 2nd level.

Step by step directions will be sent to you a few days upon your arrival. You are in the woods, so there is no key entry.
Other things to note
We are happy to host your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with other people and animals. It's an additional $30 per visit. We have cats that stay away, but our dogs are very friendly and look forward to meeting our guests and love to play with other dogs. we also have chickens that are fenced in most of the time, but do fly out and graze our land. We live on acres of land, so please feel free to let your dogs off-leash to run free. Just keep an eye around the chickens. There are also dogs bowls at the house, so no need to pack them!

The Yadkin River is near by, and so is Boone and Blowing Rock. If you like mountain biking, bring your bike to ride Kerr Scott, or Zacks Fork trails. Also, check out the workshops at Pattersonschoolfoundation.org They offer sustainable living classes such as cheese making, mushroom foraging, blacksmithing, soap making, kimchi making, etc... We also also private yoga classes. Last but not least, there is a wood-burning private sauna that you're able to reserve upon arrival! Come enjoy our Happy Valley!
