This room provided the perfect accommodations for our trip on a beautiful historic street! Everything shown here was just as we experienced during our stay. Heather and her husband were incredibly welcoming and were very flexible with us upon arrival as we had to arrive later than we planned initially!
It was a very short walk to the nearest metro station which had us in the heart of all attractions in about 20 minutes each morning. (Walk and metro ride combined!)
We would happily stay here again if we get the chance to return to Washington, DC!
BONUS: The bed was very comfortable, which was great after each long day of site seeing throughout the city!
Heather and Vasa were wonderful hosts. This is a terrific location, well-served by Metro, with some great neighborhood dining options nearby. The room was spotless and comfortable, with plenty of room to unpack for a few days. It was so helpful to find exact walking directions to the subway in the room along with a map marked with nearby amenities and suggested restaurants. These are experienced hosts and it shows - from the stress-free entry to the fluffy towel to the ability to leave luggage if needed after check-out time, this is a great base for exploring the city. I highly recommend this home.
Heather and Vasa were great hosts. The accommodation was exactly like described on AirBnb - a clear and cozy room in a nice house. Great location near to metro and city centre and a lovely neighborhood. The two gave me a warm welcome and a good feeling for my first time in Washington. After a journey in Malaysia and a strong jet lag they gave me time and space to recover as well! I absolutely recommend the accommodation of Heather and Vasa!
The house was perfectly situated for our stay in Washington, close to all the sites. Heather was very welcoming and the room was very clean and spacious, would definitely stay here again if visiting Washington.
