Neighborhood highlights

The back yard view is of the famous Gage Gardens and the Glass Mountains. Birds, butterflies, rabbits and deer and big shade trees populate the area. There is also a quaint bed on the back porch and additional seating where you can enjoy relaxing or grilling. There is a hammock in the trees on the west side of the yard.

I'm a retired teacher having taught school in Presidio, TX for 21 years. My father's family arrived in Marathon in the late 1880's. They were early settlers who ranched in the region. My history in Brewster and Presidio counties has given me a vast understanding of this area to share with my guests.
