4WD/AWD REQUIRED!!
Secluded and cozy cabin overlooking the Shenandoah River and bordering the George Washington National Forest. The recently renovated cabin features a wood fireplace, wrap around deck, screened in porch, outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. The cabin is a hiker’s dream with a private access trail leading to the Massanutten Circuit Trail. Guests can also enjoy access to the Shenandoah River.
**Please Note: Driveway is Steep -- AWD/4WD REQUIRED at all times.”

Other things to note
LOW WATER BRIDGE. In order to access the cabin, guests will need to cross the Shenandoah River by means of a low water bridge. Occasionally, flooding can occur and guests will not be able to enter or exit the property during that time. We will notify guests if that is a possibility and accommodate accordingly.

INCLEMENT WEATHER. Safety is a huge priority for us! Although it hasn't been typical during the last few winters, there is a possibility of snow/ice. If this occurs, the driveway could potentially be too dangerous to travel. If the driveway is unsafe to travel, we will inform guests as soon as possible and discuss their options.

INSECTS. Since the cabin is in the woods, certain times of year there can be more insects than normal, primarily stink bugs and ladybugs.

I live in Woodstock, VA with my husband (Hubbel) and two kids. I am a pharmacist at an independent pharmacy and Hubbel is involved in the agricultural business, primarily working on the farm raising crops and cows. We recently purchased our cabin and knew right away that it would be a great place for people to enjoy fantastic views of Shenandoah County!
