Stay in a one-of-a-kind Shipping Container Home!
This unique tiny house, made from two 20' shipping containers, sits in the heart of southeast Portland's trendy FoPo neighborhood.

The Container Home is a well-designed mix of modern and industrial esthetics. The studio layout features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom, queen bed, A/C, large back deck, television, internet, W/D...everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The space
Created in 2019, the Container Home is bright and airy inside. It sits within its own private, fenced-in yard next to our home. You'll have ample street parking immediately out the front door and a large, inviting back patio to watch birds and enjoy the neighborhood sounds.

The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, 2-burner range, and a convection microwave combo (a convection oven and microwave combined, allowing you to bake and roast food with home-cooked results, as well as nuke and defrost). We also provide an electric tea kettle, Keurig, & toaster.

The friendly living space has a queen-sized bed, love seat, table with 2 chairs, credenza, and small closet. There's a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door opening to your private back deck.

There are 2 narrow skylight-windows in the Container House, so if you are a sensitive sleeper we recommend bringing a sleep mask. Additionally, we are in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, so expect to hear lawnmowers and kids playing.

For long-term guests, or those traveling with belongings they don't want to leave in their car, there is a private, lockable storage shed just steps from the deck. A lock can be provided upon request, or you can use your own. Shed dimensions: 6' x 2' 8" x 4' 5"

Cannabis is legal in Oregon. You are welcome to responsibly smoke tobacco and cannabis outside only. There are many dispensaries within walking distance.

Other things to note
** COVID-19 CLEANING **
We participate in AirBnB's Enhanced Cleaning protocol to keep our guests as safe as possible. The Container is PROFESSIONALLY cleaned and sanitized between visitors. Disinfectant cleaning spray and paper towels are provided for each guest, should they be needed.

Lives in Portland, Oregon
Hi there! I'm an acupuncturist in Portland who loves bikes, critters, & playing on the water. My husband and I are also AirBnB hosts, so we understand the concerns of a host, and the kind of guest one hopes to attract. (I am that guest.) 5 Things I Can't Live Without: Hot sauce, a good night's sleep, exercise, sunshine, & comedy.
