If you like the country life, with the sound of roosters crowing in the mornings and the frogs and crickets' symphony in the evenings, this is the place for you!

This unique country getaway on 8 acres of woods is 10 minutes from I-95, 20 minutes from downtown Fayetteville, and 5 minutes from a shopping center with groceries, pharmacy, ATM, gas station/convenience stores, and takeout food.

This glamping is located in a private forest, not visible from the main house or from the road.

The space
This glamping-style getaway offers direct contact with nature, one of the best medicines to boost the immune system and reduce stress.

Skip the hassles of campground life for a comfortable and magical glamping experience. Just bring your self and your food and drinks. A detailed list of all the glamping amenities will be provided once you book. Simply look for the House Manual right after your reservation.

If it is a rainy day, make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the sound of the rain on the metal roof and the view of the woods from inside the screened hut. Nap or read a book on the hammock under the shade of the trees and enjoy the songs of the birds. Meditate in private with the sound of a water feature.

You will feel as you were sleeping in the middle of nature but with the feeling of a very comfortable bedroom, with a comfortable bed, clean linens and towels and warm comforter and blanket. For colder weather, you will be provided with a bed tent to make you sleep cozier.

This is a Hawaii-style hut with big openings protected by insect screen and privacy shades. The structure is completely sheltered from the rain and it is 1 1/2 feet off the ground.

It is completely fenced to kept the wildlife and our dogs away and for your dog to have a space free to move.

It is a separate structure from the main house (about 100 ft) enclosed by a fence. The main house side has a privacy fence.

Bring your binoculars if you have them, or request one from us. This is a special place for bird watching and to know more about the Carolina Sandhills ecosystem, which was once long ago at the bottom of the ocean and features the longleaf pine, the state tree of North Carolina..

The 10 acres of land offers a wide diversity of native plants, including at least 57 species of wildflowers, 31 species of trees and shrubs, 13 species of native fruits, nuts and berries; a diversity of wildlife including 48 species of birds and an uncounted number of beneficial insects, pollinators, and other wild animals.

The property is surrounded by nature and wildlife in a green, sustainable environment. It has a bird run with waterfowl and chickens; greenhouse; vegetable garden; a natural pool with carnivorous plants; and gardens with flowers, native plants, fruits and herbs which promote the life of pollinators such as bees, dragonflies, frogs and toads.

As a part of sustainable practices, we recycle and use as little as possible chemicals, combustibles, fertilizer, insecticides and anything that could contaminate our soil.

I am a journalist who has lived in different countries, making me very sensitive to different cultures and people.

In 2013, I took on an endeavor that changed my life. I took the job of taking care of my mother-in-law. Along with this important responsibility, I moved forward our sustainable permacultured homestead. I managed our several rental properties, I traveled around the world and have collected interesting experiences and images as I have worked on my personal growth.
