This turn of the century place has been rescued and is being restored back to its original charm. This newly emerging camp is just minutes from the Salmon River and Snow mobile trail. We will keep this page updated as improvements continue.

The space
The place was nearly condemned when we found it in early 2019. It has been a labor of love getting it revived. It was completely gutted and restored with new and updated materials. Today it is ready to serve guests once again. The kitchen is roomy and has everything to cook for the whole crew. A breakfast bar in the kitchen opened up a great way to interact with everyone in the living room and dining areas. There is a freezer just down in the basement to store your salmon, and hooks outside the door to hang your waders. It is a user friendly fishing camp. For the snowmobilers you are literally in the back yard of the #S 53-A. You can ride there from our backdoor. Ample parking for your rigs. It is family friendly as our girls have cleverly hidden some toys in the living room chest. There is a pack n play also ready for your little one. There is plenty of room for your four legged family members to join you on holiday.

Guest access
A security code will be supplied with reservation confirmation to access the lock box to retrieve the keys.
We will locate the key box at the rear of the house convenient to the parking area and hooks for your gear.
For your protection we only release the code after the previous guest has checked out.

Other things to note
Please note, in this community it is common to have shallow wells due to the incredible pristine aqua fir in the region. We have a shallow well, so please be mindful with your water usage. Multiple showers back to back will run the well dry and a wait time to refill will be necessary. Simply spacing showers will curb this potential inconvenience.

Location

Richland, New York, United States

The locale is ideal to enjoy all that the area has to offer. The Hamlet of Richland is centrally located with easy access to NYS snowmobile trail #S 53-A that feeds into C-5E. Two miles to Pineville bridge on the Salmon River. Twelve miles to the shores of Lake Ontario. The Hamlet of Richland is a welcoming community with restaurants with a bar, convenience mart and a park all within walking distance.
And the neighbor right next door is our Annex! You will likely see us coming and going in between guests over there as well!
Our Amish neighbors always have wonderful baked goods and fruits and veges in season. Shopping in Pulaski is just three miles away. And if its nightlife you are after, charming Oswego is only 20 minutes away or 30 minutes down 81 to Syracuse.

We are simple people who enjoy the little things in life and never sweat the big stuff because life is just too short to fuss over such stuff! John and I are old school, tree hugging, peace lovin hippie types, lol. We believe in sustainable living and practice recycling, reusing, re-purposing, repairing and plain ole making do. Come visit the chickens, the crazy cat clan and of course Destiny our gorgeous Arabian horse plus our pack of prize winning Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Help us also welcome Tarah our rescued Sicilian donkey and the comical pygmy goat herd! Come visit us on our Funny Farm!
