The Hanuman bungalow sits amid the centre of the developed portions of the property. Most probably every morning the monkeys will be on the roof and you could listen to over 50 species of bird calls from this bungalow. This is paradise for nature lovers

The space
Built right at the edge of the Great Tank Parakrama, this beautiful bungalow in a research centre for the Primates of the dry zone of Sri Lanka, can room 4 families comfortably. One room sleeps 3-4 people. Every room has AC and instant hot water showers. We have upgraded our loft into a room that sleeps 2-3 guests and it overlooks a green canopy all year through.

You wake up to bird sounds and to macaque calls. Water birds would skim past you when you paddle the canoes in the water. We offer several tours for guests interested in our research for a cost as well as boat tours and safari jeep for the elephant gathering in Minneriya national park

Swimming in the Parakrama samudraya which is at our door step. We organize Tours for guests to watch the Primates we have studied for the past 45years. Our latest movie is coming to the big screen in the USA May 2015 as "Monkey Kingdom, Disney Nature'

We rent out 10 separate rooms in four buildings. One is a large bungalow which houses 4 separate rooms, Room1: 1DB/2SB. Room2: 1DB/2SB. Room3: 3SB. (These are family rooms which can sleep two adults and two children or four adults) Smaller cabin has two separate rooms sleeping 4 people per room. One queen bed with a very good quality wooden bunk bed. Each room in both houses has it's own bath and toilet. One triple room next to our Lab and four rooms (2DB, 1TRPL,1SB) in the main Lodge
