About this listing
This apartment full of unique retro features, clean and sun-filled in the mornings is in one of the most sought after and central locations in Salt Lake City-- a few blocks from shops, yoga, restaurants, a large park, downtown and the university.
A comfortable and airy downstairs apartment with plenty of natural light, bamboo hardwood floors, a queen-size bed (with a futon in the living room) and a full kitchen in a bungalow style house about 2 miles from downtown and located in a nice neighborhood, a block from shopping, restaurants, yoga, movie theatre and a great café - 9th and 9th area.
Separate entrance from the upstairs.
Pets are for the most part ok- I would like to hear about your pet before saying yes and I do charge a pet fee to compensate for the extra cleaning. I have a fully fenced large yard.
4 people can sleep in this apartment (no more than 4) but it would be very cramped. I charge $10 per extra person per night to cover the extra laundry.
I am willing to negotiate a lower rate for longer stays.
I am 25 miles from all ski resorts incl. Park City, Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude. Just under 10 miles from the airport.
24-hour Smiths grocery store across the street - stocked!
Feel free to contact me and I can tell you more.
For an extra fee and somewhat depending on the circumstances in the upper floor you may have access to a washer and dryer. We can work that out on a as needed basis.
Trax stop is only 4 blocks away (4 Salt Lake blocks mind you) and the bus runs regularly at the end of the street. There is a city bike share here too- quite nice. I am about 2.5mi walk from the heart of downtown and in the other direction a 20-30 min walk to the university.
Pets are allowed... and I will assess a pet fee- I have a large fenced yard but would like to hear about the pet before accepting. I have a quiet, easy going beagle upstairs. No smoking inside. Outside is fine. I don't have cable or many channels but there is a DVD player and a red box to rent videos across the street at the grocery store (very convenient 24-hour grocery store across the street).
About the Host, Suzanne
I work in radio journalism and education... and often blend the two promoting digital storytelling and youth media in the classroom with an organization called SHIFT. I like to bike and hike and sip on wine with friends. I am somewhere between really organized and carefree.
