Large, sunlit second floor studio apartment nestled on a quiet, magical 30 acre property, filled with trees + starry skies. Georgia O'Keefe Welcome Center is 5 mins away in Abiquiu. Easy access to Ghost Ranch, Santa Fe and Taos. Make this your base to explore northern NM and experience the landscape that has inspired countless artists!
We are: a Vedic astrologer /Ayurvedic practitioner and a metal artisan with SF Bay Area roots. We welcome people from everywhere and of all varieties. Cheers!

The space
This is a great space to put your feet up and relax after a day of exploring the local sights and culture. This large studio apartment (over 500 sq. ft.) will allow you to sink into rest, relaxation, and quiet. If you'd like, take a short walk down to the Chama River or watch the sunset from your outdoor sitting area.

What we're doing to keep us all COVID-19-safe: This unit is completely separate from our living area. After each stay, we let the unit sit for three days before we clean. When we clean we wear masks, gloves and wipe down all surfaces with bleach solution. We're following COVID-19-safe social distancing guidelines and therefore will be welcoming you to the property by phone rather than in-person, and we're just a phone call or text away if you have any questions during your stay!

Need more space or beds for your group? Check out Il Nido do Corvo ("Raven's Nest") which has a King bed and bathroom with shower - our other unit, right next to this one!

KITCHEN DETAILS: For your convenience, you'll find the following in the kitchen area: refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and coffee, tea kettle and a selection of teas, pots and pans, cooking utensils, spices, cups, plates, glasses, silverware, wine bottle opener, etc. - and, a table and 4 chairs where you can sit and enjoy your meal, or use as a desk.

BATHROOM DETAILS: In the bathroom, there is a old-fashioned, very comfortable clawfoot bathtub where you can soak while gazing out the window overlooking the garden, graceful cottonwood trees, and the mountains. NOTE: THERE IS A TUB, NO SHOWER. There is a shower attachment so that you can easily wash your hair while soaking in the tub. The bath is stocked with towels, hair dryer, and fragrance-free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

In addition to full access to your studio apartment, you will have access to a lovely OUTDOOR SITTING AREA (shared with another AirBnb guest unit) in the garden under the trees with a view of the Sierra Negra mountain .

There is a PARKING SPACE designated just for you.

We are EASILY ACCESSIBLE on a paved County Road that has a short (maybe 100') section of dirt where the County Road goes through a little wash. Rental cars do fine. (FYI many roads in NM are unpaved.)

Re: Air conditioning: Out here in New Mexico, where we have a dry climate, you'll often find evaporative coolers (aka "swamp coolers") instead of AC. It's a very effective cooling system, but isn't "air conditioning" per se.

PETS are approved on a pet-by-pet basis, in advance. We charge an Additional $25 cleaning fee to cover the costs associated with ensuring every single thing in the place is completely cleaned for the next person (who may have allergies). If you bring a pet without approval, we will charge an additional $75 cleaning fee.

HOUSE RULES: There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property, and we ask that shoes are removed upon entering the unit to help keep things clean. Thanks! Also, no parties allowed. We value the quiet out here! If you'd like to invite additional guests over, please check with us first.

Guest access
You'll have private access to this spacious studio apartment with bathroom, and your own designated parking area. There is a lovely, outdoor sitting area under the trees, shared with our other unit's guests, where you can sit and enjoy views of Sierra Negra mountain.
