The space
The spring forest is originally a small farm from the 18th century. The original buildings have been remodeled or removed, but there is still a lot of history in the remaining walls. A lot of time and effort has been put into providing a great experience.
I live on the first floor, while you have the apartment on the second floor. There is a shared entrance but otherwise separate.
I have a small dog, Champis, and other dogs are welcome to stay here. It is good with patio and hiking opportunities right outside the door.

Valdres has many festivals in summer, and they are in 30-45 min. distance from here. Many of my guests walk Besseggen, about 1 hour drive from here. During the first weekend of Rakfiskival in November, there is a bus going to Fagernes. The bus picks you up within walking distance of the apartment.

Winter there are nice slopes 10 minutes from here (Sin).
If you prefer slalom in the winter, there is a short way to Beitostølen and Vaset (approx. 30 min.). Filefjell about 45 min.
