Beautiful pool house that sleeps up to 5 with two amazing king size beds, a queen pull out couch, and twin bed along with a beautiful full bathroom, kitchenette, laundry, and bar! Custom artificial turf, heated pool, and hot tub that are open year round make this a unique resort style stay in the heart of the favorite neighborhood of all of Kansas City - Brookside! The space
Guests will have full access to the detached pool house that includes a huge bedroom with two king size beds, a kid’s cozy loft looking over the living space, perfect for a child, and a living room with a pull out queen sized sleeper sofa. The kitchenette in the main living space has a double pull out fridge and dishwasher. The kitchenette that also serves as an open air bar that opens to the artificial turf yard space that has a dining table, fireplace, and lounge furniture. Finally, the bathroom is a full modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The pool and hot tub are shared with the main house, but the AstroTurf lawn is reserved for pool house guests. The pool is open and heated all year round! If temps are not above 60 we just keep it warm enough not to freeze, but it makes for a wonderful polar plunge between steamy hot tub sessions! From November to April if projected temperatures are going to be above 70 degrees during the guests stay, guests just simply need to request to have the pool turned up if they plan on swimming. In the winter months the pool is not enjoyable if outside temperatures are below 70.

The neighborhood is full of homes with character and tree lined streets. The home is just around the corner from the Brookeside shops, bus stop, and nine miles of running and biking trails. The Brookside shops are Kansas City’s oldest and cutest shopping districts. It is home to everything one would need including gourmet groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, a variety of bars and restaurants and boutique shopping! Just two miles north of the house is the Plaza and home to 17 blocks of shopping, entertainment, and unique architecture.

Lastly, the pool house is just a 20 minute drive to both Arrowhead and Kaufmann Stadiums by using routes that avoid interstate traffic.

Overview of House Rules: No events or parties, 5 person max ($100 for extra daytime per guests for 4 hours maximum and $100/night for extra sleepover guests), all extra guests must be approved prior to booking, no drop-in visitors, quiet time is between 10pm-8am, no cooking, upper deck is off limits, cupboards upstairs are private, pets are charged $50 per pet and must be approved (any pet over the one paid for within the reservation will be charged an additional fee of $50 each), turn off the AC if doors or windows are open. Fees will be assessed and possible immediate cancellation for violation of any rules.
