My husband (Norman) and I bought a historic 300-yr old farm on the south coast of Massachusetts in 2010. After a painstaking, 5-year, historically correct restoration, we moved here with our goat herd in 2016. The classic barnyard has a post and beam center chimney Cape house, an English style bank barn, a blacksmith shop, and 3 smaller outbuildings. We converted the blacksmith shop into a guest cottage for family and friends and Airbnb. In season we milk our goats daily and drink the milk and make cheese (chevre), yogurt, kefir, and goat milk soap. We barter with other farmer friends and sell some products at local farmers markets. We are not yet licensed to sell our milk or cheese, but hope to pursue that dream soon. We both work "off-farm" part-time jobs (from home offices) to pay the bills. Laurie is a marketing consultant and Norman is a real estate appraiser.

During your stay
We'll greet you, give you a brief orientation, and be available to you during your stay. We live only a few steps away across the barnyard, so are on property most of the time. We won't crowd you if you want peace/quiet but we are available to answer any questions about the property, the animals, and the area. We can arrange a totally touch-free check-in if you wish.
