Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville, situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. There is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights, upon request. During the summer months, there is air conditioning available making a cool and cozy retreat from the heat of the summer. There are two additional cottages on the property.

The space
The front door opens to a large patio that expands your living area comfortably into the outdoors. A cozy patio set is situated on the patio along with a charcoal grill. A fire pit is also located just off of the outdoor seating area that will be stocked with wood for your personal use. There is a small play set outside that is also available for guest use.

Guest access
You have access to the entire property if you wish to go for a walk. There are 2 additional cottages on the property, one can be found on Airbnb and our parents home is across the way.

Other things to note
PLEASE BE AWARE, the king bed sits 2.5 feet from floor. Step stool is available for use to climb onto the bed. If you have a disability it may be difficult to climb onto the bed!

Ellenville is a beautiful small town with welcoming locals. The town is filled with delicious restaurants. With a wide array of choices. From Japanese cuisine to Chilean and Vegan options. The shadowland theater is a professional theater located in the center of town. You can enjoy drinks and dinner at Aroma Thymes extensive bar and restaurant after the show. Cohens bakery is a great quaint place for breakfast on any given morning. Especially when the weather is nice because outdoor seating is available. The town is modestly sized and everything can be reached within walking distance.
