Looking for a laid-back, authentic Belizean stay? Check out the Cozy Cabana: a funky and comfortable studio in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the lively village center and the famous Split.

The space
This rustic little cabana has everything you need for your island adventures: inside, you’ll find a small living area with a well-equipped kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, and all the basics), a half-separate bedroom with a queen bed, and a spacious bathroom with a cool, refreshing shower. There's no hot water, but most days you won’t even miss it in this tropical weather.

Outside, kick back on your private veranda with a hammock and a view over our quirky backyard restaurant. Yep, that’s right, Wish Willy Bar & Grill is right outside your door. It’s a casual, open-air spot run by my husband, serving up tasty dinners every night. Expect a few laughs, local flavor, music, and chatter until about 9 or 10pm. To get to your cabana, you'll walk right through the restaurant, it’s all part of the experience!

Most guests love our private dock, just 50 yards away from our property. It's perfect for your morning coffee, a swim, or stargazing under the night sky. And don’t miss the sunsets, they’re the best.

Bonus: if you’re a dog lover, you’ll feel right at home with our friendly pups Gumbo, Pixie & Mayzie, who might come by for a visit on the veranda.

The Cozy Cabana is a great home base for exploring, relaxing, or just soaking in the local scene.

Guest access
As a guest you have access to all the hammocks in the yard, the restaurant and our private dock (50 yards off the property). We have a few kayaks and SUP's that you can use for a daily rate of 10 US$.

Other things to note
This is a self-service rental: during your stay there will be no cleaning, although there will be cleaning supplies in the house for your own use. Guests that stay for more than a week can request cleaning for an extra fee. We provide basics (coffee, tea, spices, shampoo, soap) for the first days of your stay.

There are special weekly and monthly rates and in the slow season (September-October) prices are lower. If you fill in the dates, the right price including discounts will show up automatically.

Where you’ll be

Caye Caulker, Belize

The cabana is just a moments walk to 'The Split', where the island is split in two and which is the most popular spot for swimming, snorkeling or to have a drink at the famous bar 'the Lazy Lizard'. The main street -Front Street- is right around the corner. Here you'll find several restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops and food- and fruit stands. The many local people you meet are always in for a chat. The part of the island where the cabana is located is only 100 yards wide so the sea & beach are always nearby.
