LOTS, easy going & friendly. Sometimes we share meals
Quiet, gracious, and soo many hiking, biking, and riding trails right across from our house!
Must have wheels to get to our house from the train depot or the 1-5 freeway, either car, bike, good walking shoes, OR your horse! :-)
Other Things to Note
Sometimes guests' phone carriers don't give strong coverage in or near the house, because of the surrounding hills, so there are pockets where calls are dropped. TEAM MOBILE has the worst reception on the property, However, AT&T and Verizon cellulars seem to have coverage, so 99% of guests are always able to receive & send out mobile calls in front and/or in the backyard by the BAR!

My extended stay with JJ and Andy has been an outstanding experience. I could not have landed in a better place. JJ and Andy are welcoming and gracious people who make every effort to make your stay comfortable. They are both easy to communicate with, laid back, flexible, and great conversationalist who is familiar with the area and able to make recommendations, while at the same time respect guest's privacy.
The house and space was as described, very quiet, peaceful and wonderfully decorated. The surrounding area was serene, safe and beautifully nestled among the green hills. The Caribbean garden with the amazing Jamaican bar was an ideal place to enjoy an evening glass of wine and a snack. The morning yoga on the beach followed by a jog and evening sunset on the ocean, a winning combination, are but a few of my favorite memories.
In addition JJ and Andy like to cook everyday from their organic garden, and you will have an opportunity to present and boast with your traditional, cultural and/or international favorite meal. Indeed, if you are lucky, you may be treated to sample Andy’s home made organic ice cream. Yum!
JJ will happily join you in local festivities with her 2-foot long lens, cowboy boots and hat, a sure sight that will pave the way for her.
I would not hesitate to recommend staying at their place to anyone. It is a gem!
Thank you Judith and Andy for having be as your guest, it was an honor to meet you.
We loved hosting you Laila, during your local professional assignment here, and of course your always welcome back! Your gift of transporting your lemons from AZ to us here in SOCAL was beyond anything ever expected. Andy your wonderful Danish traditional dishes were another generous gift. Thank you!
What a fabulous stay! This was our first time with airbnb, but will not be our last. Judith and her husband were just awesome to talk to. The room was beautiful and the home open and inviting. We drank wine, read books, and relaxed as if we lived there.
Judith gave us restaurant recommendations which were spot on. You simply have to try the tapas place in town called Guapas Tapas. Highly recommend the spicy shrimp and paella.
We also enjoyed chatting with the other guest staying here. And that's why this is better than staying in a hotel where you make little or no personal connections. Thank you Judith for making this trip special for us. We look forward to seeing you again.
JJ and Andy are the best! They made me feel so welcome in their home. I just relocated to Orange County from N. Northern California through my employer. I wanted the luxury of completing a housing search locally, so I reserved a room with JJ and Andy via airbnb. This let me focus on the move and packing without the additional stress of trying to find a new home remotely. My experience with JJ and Andy has been exceptional. They are friendly, gracious hosts and I am so happy I stayed with them.
Their beautiful house is situated near the hills of San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente. There is fabulous hiking opportunities in the area, and a hiking trail that begins about 100 feel from their home. They are minutes away from Dana Point, Laguna Beach and San Clemente. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet and close to shopping in San Juan Capistrano.
I could not have landed in a better place than JJ and Andy's home. I am very grateful that I found them through airbnb!!!
I have to say I had a wonderful time and a great experience. JJ was easy to contact regarding my arrival, and I had to call because I was caught in traffic and was going to be late, this was not a problem. JJ and Andy are wonderful hosts. I immediately felt welcome, JJ and Andy are very warm people and such gracious hosts. The home is great, pool and bar out back, which you have to enjoy if you have time. On Friday night I arrived back from my days events and was welcomed to relax in the living room watching an episode of a show with them and the other guest, it made me feel at home. JJ gave me the rundown of the home which is very easy. The room was great, the bed comfortable and the decor warm and inviting. I was up and out very early and came home late in the evenings, yes I said came home-it felt like I was coming home and not to a strange hotel. If I need a place to stay when traveling to this area again I will book with JJ if it is available. My only regrets are that I was so busy that I hardly had any time to talk with JJ and Andy and that I left very early on the last day and was not able to say goodbye (I felt like I owed them a goodbye hug-It's funny I know but they were both so kind and warm it just made me want to hug them goodbye) Overall 2 thumbs up!
Many thanks for the kind and special hospitality. Judy and Andy are the best host I've ever met. They are so kind, attentive, helpful and very friendly. In their beautiful garden it was like being in a paradise. Not only California's atmosphere, but also Jamaica-feeling was evoked by them. My little daughter was freely happy in their garden, pool and on the trampoline. We spent a marvellous three weeks together. Thanksful, Nora, Peter, Kiara.
