Spacious yet cozy, this 2BR apartment is perfectly sized for a couple, family, or group of friends and is equipped with essential amenities, WiFi, & AC. Conveniently located by the popular Sunrise Trail along The Machias River & close to shops and restaurants, this is the perfect spot for your getaway! The roaring Bad Little Falls is within eyesight down the river and if you watch closely you may see seals, fish, eagles, & more! Kick back and relax outdoors from the private balcony or hammock.

WiFi, full kitchen, washer & dryer, linens, etc. Outside you’ll find a private grill, hammock and chairs, and there’s also a fire pit for your enjoyment! Direct access to The Downeast Sunrise Trail. Neighborhood highlights

Located conveniently close to all of our town’s restaurants and stores (some which can be reached by walking!). Though so close to town, The Eagle’s Nest is extremely private! Plenty of lawn space to hangout with your group along with a private balcony/chairs and grill. If you like to chase those gorgeous sunsets & sunrises, this is a great place for you! Watch the sun rise & set over the river from the apartment or take a peaceful stroll on the popular Sunrise Trail to do so.

Ryle and I met in 2017 through high school sports. For two years, we made long distance love work as he lived 4 hours away from me. We are now married and have the sweetest baby girl! We took over the Inn at 18 & 20 years old from my Aunt and Uncle and never looked back. We now own/manage multiple Inns and aside from that, we rent Polaris side by sides! We thoroughly enjoy creating a “home away from home” for our guests here in Downeast Maine.
