Just opened last Summer, The Silver Spur Cabin celebrates the Wild West Era. According to legend, many notorious outlaws passed through our area. Belle Starr and Jesse James were said to have used the area to hide treasure and evade the law. Rumor is the hidden treasure from these bands of outlaws is still waiting to be discovered.

The Lazy Buffalo has 5 individually themed cabins. The Silver Spur Cabin is the 2nd door from the left when looking at The Lazy Buffalo and under the white roof.

The space
The Silver Spur Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo has two queen size beds and a walk in tiled shower. Barn wood, knotty pine, and corrugated tin are used throughout the spacious cabin. Dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant vibe. The kitchenette area has a mini fridge and microwave along with table and chairs. Sip on a cup of coffee from the front porch or have a picnic in our outdoor pavilion area complete with charcoal Grill. Kids and adults will love playing cornhole, checkers, wahoo, horseshoes. Capture forever memories at our themed photo ops.

Located on a state highway yet still nestled along the foothills of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, we are just a half mile from the original Quanah Parker’s Star House and minutes from Lawton Fort Sill and historic Medicine Park.

Cabin amenities include:
* a/c and heat
* mini fridge
* microwave
* iron with ironing board
* single serve k cup coffee maker
* hair dryer
* free WiFi
* flat screen smart tv with free Netflix
* charcoal grill and fire pit
* laundry room with washer and dryer (accessible 24 hours and located on property, shared with other guests)

Enjoy the sunset on the long covered front porch and if you are feeling adventurous, explore the beautiful Wichita Mountains. A paved bicycle trail adjoins our property and runs throughout the Mountains.

COMING FALL 2020
