Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Bright, spacious, finished basement in the Red Acre Farm House. Private entrance. Just 5.5 miles north of DT Cedar City. We are out in the country on a 2-acre organic, biodynamic working farm. Centrally located: 5.5 miles to the Shakespeare Festival, downtown Cedar City, and the Summer Games.

An open floor plan. The living room has plenty of space for additional guests, your bike, backpacks, and all your outdoor gear. Come home from a day of hiking to a clawfoot soaker tub/shower.

The space
There is an electric range, oven with four burners, a refrigerator and freezer, toaster, and microwave, French press, coffee grinder, locally roasted coffee beans, organic tea bags, local honey, and organic sugar.

There are places and bedding for seven guests to sleep. There is plenty of floor space to sleep three extra guests if you are willing to provide your own bedding, air mattress, mat, or cushions (the floor is not carpeted).

There is a private entrance, accessed with a key. This is a working farm, so expect to rise to the roosters' crowing and the crew hard at work.

Other things to note
The space is in the basement of the Farmhouse. You will hear occasional noise, people walking and moving upstairs.
The thermostat for both the heat and air is upstairs and can only be changed by us. We are happy to adjust up or down at your request.

My work: Farmer, executive director, activist and educator
Lives in Cedar City, Utah
I love life. I love to laugh. I love people. I enjoy reading, and all things to do with food is my passion from soil to plate. I love to be engaged in a good cause! I live on, own and run our small family farm with my daughter Sara. Red Acre Farm CSA in the rural and majestic southern Utah. I am also the co founder and executive director of our sister organization, Red Acre Center for food and agriculture. Mother of 4, grandma of 9. I would love to travel more. We currently travel because we are attending a farm conference or visiting and touring farms.
