Tucked into the woods with a gorgeous cobblestone fireplace and an open floor plan, this cottage is perfect for preparing meals together. The cottage was built in the 1930's and is a great spot for those who crave a bit of rustic yet nostalgic.

The space
This comfortable cottage can sleep four with the sleeper sofa. Kiln dried wood allows ease as you build a fire and settle in with a good book.

Carl is originally from Ohio and is a born and raised Cubs fan who moved to Chicago right after finishing college and moved as close to Wrigley Field as he could. Danni is a Minnesota girl who lived in Chicago for 12 years, graduating from DePaul University around the time she met Carl. After living in Chicago for so many years, we were eager to move out of the busy city and into the wilderness, with hopes of settling down and starting a family somewhere that was very nature-foucsed. We always loved camping and hiking together and struggled to get out of Chicago and into the woods as oftern as we would like. We were married on the North Shore of Lake Superior in 2014, bought our home in 2015 and had our first child at the beginning of 2016. In 2019 the opportunity to purchase three cottages presented itself and we were thrilled! We have had quite a connection with this property since about the year that we moved up here. We are so grateful that we can now call them ours!
