Interaction with Guests
It's a pleasure for me to meet people from all around the world - I'm not working outside so I have time to give them all advices to have a special experience in our country, to discover secret part of south of France.
The accommodation was exactly as described, set in a great location just between a number of places to visit (Nimes, Uzes, Pont du Gard). Breakfast was provided every morning which included a number of breads, yoghurt, homemade jams, coffee and orange juice.
Maryanne was a great hostess providing ideas on the best places to visit, maps and is a wealth of knowledge of the area. She speaks both French and English and was very patient with my wife's conversational french. We stayed only four nights but wished we stayed longer.
A perfect place in a quiet location. The room was even better than described; very quiet. Only down side is that there are seriously not many restaurants around, so if staying 2 weeks you would get bored. But we stayed 6 nights and found new places to eat each day. Marianne is a lovely lady, very welcoming. The room is lovely and very welcoming. Looking for a place for a few days? Would thoroughly recommend!
The description was very accurate. The location is easy to find. The welcome made my wife and I feel right at home. The location is safe and secure.
Spent 4 nights at Mariannes. Accommodation was lovely. Downstairs there was a living-room with a utility corner with fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee, cups and saucers. Upstairs there was a bedroom ensuite with air conditioning. All beautifully decorated and as shown in the pictures on the website. The towels were changed and bins emptied after 2 days. Marianne was a superb host and looked after us extremely well. Her breakfasts were lovely and beautifully presented. There was a basket of baguette, home-made bread and home-made cake plus yoghurt, delicious home-made jams, some cheese sticks and a little fruit salad. There was also a pool which looked beautiful and had we stayed longer we would have used it but we were always on the (website hidden) Gervasy is very central for Uses (eg its Saturday market), Pont Du Gard (eg kayaking underneath the aqueduct), Avignon (Papal Palace, luminescence show and great restaurants) and the lovely medieval castles around Beaucaire - all reachable in 35-40 mins drive time. Wifi was also available from within the accommodation. We would definitely stay again and for longer next time - we enjoyed Mariannes company very much.
We had a great stay at Marianne's place. In fact, it was the best place we stayed in during our trip to France this year. The gite is very cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed our well prepared breakfasts on the sunny terrace. The pool is great, too. Marianne is an amazing host and provided us with many nice suggestions about nearby sights. Highly recommended!
