Pros: -- Stefano waited for us outside when we arrived. -- Stefano helped us carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. -- Stefano was always present and available to answer questions. -- Stefano helped us to schedule a fixed tariff taxi to the airport (19 EUR). -- the place has a great heater -- great shower pressure -- great big deck/balcony outside -- location is perfect, right between two major shopping streets, close to the Royal palace, and the Gran Cafe Gambrinus where we ate our breakfasts. A couple of nice restaurants are right around the corner. Cons: -- Elevator in the building was still being built while we were there. If you have any problems taking stairs, ask Stefano whether the elevator is finished and functional. -- No sound insulation. You could hear people walking and making other noise in the middle of the night. I personally don't mind, but my mother in law had problems staying asleep. Overall, a great choice! I would recommend Stefano's place to a friend any time! Thank you Stefano!

We loved this apartment, and after traveling in Italy for nearly a week it was a perfect end to our holiday. It felt clean, and warm. I loved having the second floor, which made it feel more comfortable. Stefano was very personable and helpful in arranging for some of our laundry to be done, which made our stay over the 3 nights much more pleasant. It has a wonderful view of Mount Vesuvius, and is in a very lively area. However, it is quiet at night and very peaceful. Just beware, it is on the very top floor without a lift. So, make sure you're capable of this challenge before booking.

My fiance and I stayed at Nardones48 for a week. The apartment location and views were great. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. We cooked dinner at the apartment one evening and ate on the beautiful terrace that overlooks Mt. Vesuvious. Stefano was very helpful. He always responded quickly and was very flexible and helpful on the day of our arrival. We had planned to meet him around 10:30 am, but our first flight arrived late which caused us to miss our connecting flight to Naples. I sent an email to Stefano letting him know that we would be arriving 5 hours late, and he said it wasn't a problem and arranged for us to be let into the apartment even though he was unable to be there. The apartment is at the top of the building (four and a half floors up) which provides great light, spectacular views and a quiet place to return after a day strolling the busy streets of Naples.

Delightful little place central to the shopping area and so close to the port which can take you to Capri, Sorento and many other beautiful locations. Perfect place for two on a week city break. Right next to the famous Brandi where the Margherita was first created. Definitely worth the stay.

Stefano's apartment is great and in a good part of town, you must go to Brandi for awesome pizzas which is the first street on the right walking down the hill! The only negative comment I can make is that the lift stops at the 3rd floor (the apartment is on the 4th) so you will have to lug your bags up a flight of stairs. Check in and check out was simple due to Stefano's manager being onsite everyday and the views of Vesuvius from the balcony/terrace are excellent. This was a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it to others!

The apartment is great, exactly as advertised and we had a very good time there. It is located in an interesting, lively, beautiful and safe area in Naples. Check-in and -out went well organized and very convenient. I definitely recommend Stefano as a host!

We enjoyed our stay in Naples very much. Stefano had had a problem with the apartment we initially rented, but he quickly arranged for a replacement, in what turned out to be a better location, just by Castel d'Ovo. So, I fully recommend renting from Stefano
