About this listing
Why stay in a hotel when you can rent a whole house less than a block from campus? Our 3 bedroom house is perfect for Notre Dame football weekends, weddings and other special events at Notre Dame and in the surrounding South Bend area.
View of campus from the corner. Innovation Park is the building on the left and you can see the stadium, dome and Joyce Center further down.
Owned and operated by a group of ND alums, this 3 bedroom, 1 bath home is available to rent for your Notre Dame adventures. Located a few houses from the corner of South Bend Avenue and N Twyckenham Drive, campus is just steps away. Walk to the stadium in 10 minutes, enjoy the shops and restaurants at Eddy Street commons within a 12 minute walk, and the Notre Dame staple Linebacker Lounge is right across the street.
Guests will have the entire property to themselves for the duration of the stay. The house is on an electronic locking system so last minute bookings are welcome!
Interaction with Guests
While we will be available via phone day and night to answer any questions or address any problems that may arise, we intend to let you enjoy the house as if it were your own for the duration of your stay.
Wake up on Saturday mornings in the fall and already be surrounded by the excitement of a Notre Dame game day. Step outside the door and hear the cadence of the marching band drum line warming up. Celebrate an Irish victory at the Linebacker lounge or Eddy Street Commons after the game and enjoy the short walk back to the house.
Shops, restaurants, bars and Notre Dame's campus are all within a 10 minute walk of the house. Taxis in south bend are cheap if you would like to venture downtown.
Other Things to Note
Ask about special rates for nights surrounding football games if you would like to come in earlier or stay later
From May 13 - 16, 2016 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
The beige represents campus and the marker in the lower right is the house. As close as you can get without staying on campus!
This house is awesome, super comfortable beds, couch is great, the host stacks the home with plenty of alcohol for the people looking for some fun, great location and I recommended checking out brothers bar and grill we had so much fun their highly recommend it.
This house was exactly what we expected. It fit 6 comfortably, though if you were going to spend a lot of time inside the house, there's only one space to gather, otherwise you'll have to sit on a bed in a bedroom. I suspect most people who are interested in this property will be on campus much more than in the house, so it shouldn't be a problem. There is also a backyard to hang out in.
The house is well-located with a stoplight and crosswalk to get you across the busiest street on the short walk (13 minutes to the main circle) to campus.
The host communicated that he is open to suggestions and the overall communication was just enough to let us know that we are welcome and to make sure we didn't have any questions.
The neighborhood seems to be residential. It was quiet while we were there.
The house is in a great location and James was responsive and on top of providing all the necessary info. We were unhappy with the cleanliness of the floors and the low pressure of the toilet. once these issues are addressed I would recommend staying here.
Great house that is walking to distance to campus. Great neighborhood and back yard for yard games. Perfect for a short weekend out to ND. I would definitely come back again.
Overall a great experience. The house was clean, neat, and exactly as described. James responded promptly to my messages and ensured that everything was ready for our stay. I'd highly recommend this spot.
