Our B & B is a historic German home built in 1858 located in downtown New Braunfels, TX. Our charming home is owned and operated by the New Braunfels Conservation Society and all fees go to preserving our unique heritage. Come stay in a little bit of history!

The space
Our B & B will sleep up to 4 people. Please note the charge listed is for 2 people and there is an additional charge for each guest after that. It is a 1 bedroom (queen size), 1 bath home (circa 1858) with a queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam in the living room. There is a sitting room, a dining room, and a kitchenette (small refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, sink, wine glasses, etc). A full kitchen is available for those staying 5 or more days. Wi-Fi and cable television are included. A 2 night stay is required during peak season.

Very convenient neighborhood. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants, night life, antiques, and shopping. Your choice of two rivers for toobing! (The Comal is close and the Gaudalupe is about a 10 minute drive.) Wineries and breweries are close by (most of them are offering live music). Easy access to Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio. The Outlet Mall is located a short 15 minute drive north in San Marcos. Gruene is a few minutes down the road with historic Gruene Hall, shops, and restaurants. For toobing, we have pick up and drop off available from your front door.

I love arranging flowers and gardening, along with writing. reading and painting. I enjoy working with people and planning anything from an intimate wedding to large events. Larry is a musician and works at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum which is a block down from the house. Larry and I were married in the garden here at this lovely property. We are very active in downtown events and enjoy the historic German heritage of this community where we live. Larry and I live on the property along with our rock'n'roll kitties, Cosgrove and Francis. From the moment you arrive until you leave we encourage you to "Stay like a local!"
