No.6 Seatown is a traditional fisherman’s cottage, built around 1850, and originally a thatched bungalow. 6 Seatown provides comfortable and cosy accommodation in a stunning location, just opposite the bridge to the East Beach and an easy walk to the woods along the river’s edge.

The cottage has a ground floor king size double bedroom and bathroom as well as the lounge/dining area and open plan kitchen. This makes it ideal for couples, those with young families, or those with limited mobility. Due to their low ceilings, the rooms upstairs are only really suitable for younger children, but there is a twin bedroom and play room with children's toys and a second TV.

6 Seatown is cosy and intimate and has a sheltered and secluded garden. There is on street parking in front of the cottage and all modern amenities such as WiFi, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Your four legged friends are welcome and will love the walks from the door.

Lossiemouth is compact, but has the necessary shops, restaurants and pubs. It is ideal, not just for a beach, golfing or fishing holiday, but also for touring the Malt Whisky and Castle trails, as well as longer day trips to places such as the Cairngorms National Park or Loch Ness.

The space
The cottage is a real home from home, where we hope you will feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Where you’ll be

Lossiemouth, United Kingdom

Seatown is the old fishing area, with it's narrow lanes and quaint cottages, accessed by a quiet cul-de-sac, so there is little through traffic. However it is within an easy walking distance of the esplanade with its ice cream shops and restaurants, and the town centre. It is also directly opposite the iconic footbridge over the River Lossie to the the East Beach. This is unfortunately closed at the moment as it is unsafe. However Lossie's West beach, by the golf course has a friendly beach front cafe and makes a lovely walk to Covesea lighthouse, where you can also access one of our favourite cafes, the Twenty Nineteen Coffee (formerly Aroma). Only a few miles further Hopeman has 2 lovely beaches to explore, with it's row of colourful beach huts. Then Roseisle beach seems to go on forever, and is backed by Roseisle woods, with it's picnic and barbecue area. At Findhorn you can sit in the Kimberley pub and watch the tide come in or go in search of the seals, often basking in the sunshine on the beach.

Mother to teenage twins, wife to joiner Colin, private taxi driver, a bit of a fitness fanatic, addicted to coastal rowing, (when the North Sea allows!). Love walking my 2 black labradors Monty and Sully on Sandend beach and the stunning coastline beyond. Owner of 4 fisherman's cottages by the sea on the Moray Firth, spread between Lossiemouth, Sandend and Portsoy.
