Situated in the heart of the Teme Valley, the Annexe serves as the perfect country retreat. Popular with walkers and day trippers alike and those keen on immersing themselves in nature. The building itself is a beautiful Grade 11 listed Queen Anne farmhouse with courtyard, simply decorated, complete with exposed beams and unique features. Comfortable sleeping and cooking arrangements. Woodburner and large selection of books. Two pubs one within a mile offering food and wi-fi. Lovely exploring.

The space
Guests can expect a relaxed visit and can do as much or as little as they wish! Unsuitable for very young children due to open stairs. Site is on a working farm with ducks, chickens and peacocks wandering about. There is a Shetland pony and larger pony in the paddock at the rear of the Annexe. Older children are welcome to use the trampoline and slide/climbing frame under supervision and at your own liability. There is ample parking for our guests and cars are left at the owners risk (The peacocks have been known to peck very shiny cars, they see their reflection and think it's another bird). We have a car cover available if desired.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to the court yard and surrounding areas.

Other things to note
The Annexe is geared towards open plan living so lends itself very well to families. The downstairs living area consisting of large kitchen and living room.
Upstairs is a run of three bedrooms, the first of which is accessed by the stairs, and then leads on to the second bedroom which in turn leads on to the third bedroom. The family bathroom with shower and bath is accessed from the second/middle bedroom.
The thorny subject of WiFi
We now have Wifi, however we are in a remote location and the WiFi service is not great and certainly not very fast. We are prone to outages but for us 'out in the sticks' to have any sort of Wifi coverage is progress!

Location

Hanley William, England, United Kingdom

We have lots of lovely restaurants in the area and the people are very friendly. The main attraction is the beautiful countryside and position; making it easy to visit Hereford with it's Cathedral , Worcester and lots of surrounding villages. Hanley William is a tiny Hamlet with it's own little church and pub and was once all part of the Hanley Court Estate making it interesting to historians. There is a Safari Park at Bewdely and the Severn Valley steam railway with lots of interesting stops along the way including Bridgenorth and Arley. Ludlow has a castle and is a major food capital there is also a leisure centre there too. World famous Shelsley Hill Climb is on our doorstep; a great day out for all car enthusiasts.

Hello to our prospective guests and those wishing to revisit us this season; we are now taking bookings from 12th July. We have updated our cleaning procedures and are ready to welcome back our visitors. Local attractions such as the Safari Park are now open and we are hoping that local hospitality will also soon resume; especially the local pubs! We look forward to receiving your bookings and answering any questions which you may have. In these challenging times we have made a couple of changes to our accommodation, these are that we will no longer be providing towels to our guests kindly asking that they bring their own. Also we ask guests to bring any culinary items which may be required such as cooking oil, flour, salt , tea and coffee, milk and necessities. Bed linen will be provided and beds made up ready for use although we ask that guests strip beds at the end of their stay and place them in the laundry bags provided and leave them in the porch. Your host will be available for any questions you may have and any help you may need during your stay.
