You'll feel like you're getting away from it all in this brand new, private tiny house in the trees (even though you're minutes from Duke, Downtown Durham, Research Triangle Park, and loads of shopping and restaurants). All the right amenities are here - full kitchen, laundry, A/C, and high-speed internet - but don't be surprised if you find yourself opting to relax in the swing on the screened-in porch while you soak in the sounds of the birds and the trees instead.

The space
You can't put a price on good sleep, so we've chosen to use a high density foam mattress with amazing sheets from Brooklinen.

We also have the kitchen stocked with staples, including quality coffee and tea. Please note that the tiny house does not have a television.

We believe in an environment of inclusivity and diversity where everyone is meant to feel welcome.

We are supporters of the One Tree Planted non-profit, so we will make a donation to have a tree planted for each visit to our home. **Thanks to the support from our amazing guests in 2020-2021 we have had 821 trees planted.

Where you’ll be

Durham, North Carolina, United States

Hope Valley is a lovely historic neighborhood a couple of minutes south of downtown Durham, allowing you to be simultaneously surrounded by woods and easily accessible to shopping and restaurants. There is a paved walking path behind the neighborhood which is a great place for a run/walk, and a fantastic sandwich shop (Eastcut) around the corner.
